Best Irish Pubs in Dublin. 

Temple Bar is definitively not the number 1 :P

The best pub on Dublin is Mulligans in Poolbeg Street, that is where I met my wife aeons ago. Been back recently, still the same and mobiles are not welcome! What a place.

I'm a Dubliner and I can tell you that these are the top 5 Dublin pubs in the city centre, especially if you want good Guinness: Remember enjoy Temple Bar but it's where the tourists go. The Locals use the pubs in the Creative Quarter ( South William St - Georges St), Wexford St-Camden St, Grafton St environs and Merrion Row- Baggot St. Here are my top 5 trad bars in Dublin city centre. There are many different types of bars mind. (1) Mulligans (2) Toners (3) The Long Hall (4) O'Donoghues (Merrion Row) (5) Grogans

Nah mate, Temple Bar is for tourists. More expensive and always really crowded. There are lot more good pubs. Like Stags Head, or Foggy dew for example. I've had the best night in The Stags Head, almost all Irish fellas and barely none tourists (yeah me and me friends)

Four of these pubs are on the same street. You need to get out of Temple Bar.

The Long Hall & The Palace Bar are the real deal, Temple bar is only for tourists or young wans on the tiles.

In no particular order, Palace bar, McDaids,, Bruxelles, O'Donohues, Stags Head

Worst. List. Ever.

Folks, REALLY!!! The Temple bar, Fitzsimons and the Auld Dub… these are rip off kips and are not reflective of real drinking houses in Dublin City centre.. the Long Hall and The Palace bar, yes but you need to go up Grafton st as well, Nearys, Bruxelles, Peter’s pub, Hogans, Stags Head etc.. great pubs, but keep away from Temple bar!!
