My first fishing kayak is definitely going to be something like or exactly the Old Town Sportsman PDL 120. I’d also recommend some rod floats. Keeps your rod and reel afloat should it fully fall off the kayak. Splooge.

I actually have those floats. I did lose my net on this trip too. Lol sank to the bottom. Didn’t realize it till later. Lol 😂 kayak fishing is definitely tough. I’ll lock it all in soon. Just need more money lol or donated gear!

Thanks for the videos. We visited St. Augustine this week. Stopped in Genung’s and picked up some fish bites and Sandman Float Rigs. Can’t wait to try them out.

Excellent!! I just caught pompano and black drum using the orange and pink float rig tipped with cut shrimp & EZ flea Fishbites. Good luck 👍 hour after outgoing tide and first hour of incoming tide seemed to be best this month.

That's not a bottom sweeper jig. That looked like a plain hook well at least in the shot saying bottom sweeper lol. I see you used it in the catching lolNice catch and video Capt.
