And you actually don't need to control their fall if you don't want to. You can land on top of them and let them fall with the throw Judo can be the gentle way but also the brutal way

Buy a book on judo. All u need is another body to practice on ask around if anyone wants to practice with you b4 or after on on an open mat day. If your in bjj just ask your instructor to go over some throws. Take it slow nice and easy learn how to fall first and just learn the technique. It's been years since I've did BJJ. But one of the places I trained was a young lady who started with judo first so that helped but it's not hard to add to your game. Hard to do on a resisting opponent but once u start messing around with it you'll start to see the openings 4 it. When you do hit a throw it feels cool

I learnt never to give up and to train hard from judo. It served me well in my martial arts training and career later on in life. I trained under the four Japanese 4 th Dans sent by the Japanese Overseas Volunteers Corps to train the Police Field Force in Sarawak, Malaysia. I was only 16 then but won my black belt by remaining unbeaten and throwing the other two men (with full ippon) who passed the test with me. I have never been thrown in competition. Great and fun sport. Made a man out of me. In judo you have to fight everyone and cannot hide under your belt. Everyone challenges you.
