Anchor wizard. I got say say the last few months I have lost my drive to kayaks fish. Some of it was the clique type mentality I’ve seen and others was the social media. I think my confidence has gone down so much. When you see all these videos of people fishing but only showing the catches it starts to make me think I’m a horrible fisherman when I go out a bunch and not catch a thing. I even started to fall in the trend of buying stuff based off recommendations of RU-vidrs and some days still having no luck. I lost the the drive. But watching your videos now (and I will say I stopped for a while) I’m realizing that we all have our own issues and challenges to deal with. I will say many of your videos have been very helpful especially the tips ones. I know I just need to go back to enjoying kayaking and fishing and do it for fun again. I really appreciate all you do for the community and hope to see more video and maybe meet you one of these days.

The Ores are very easy to put together, the pump worked beautifully. the seats are a bit hard to sit in after a while (I recommend sitting on the floor). after reading the reviews I was very scared it'd get a hole in it, the material is very strong and durable. The Air valve may need a small Phillips head screwdriver to adjust, other than that, it's well worth the money!(update)I've gone Kayaking in 3 Lakes and 2 rivers totaling about 40 miles. the kayak had two holes and they patched easily and no other problems can't wait for kayaking season this year!

A shallow water anchor was an accessory I used to use a lot. Ever since i got my pedal drive, I found that I don't use my anchor at all

I don't a anchor that much, when I get my Garmin Striker 4 plus better use then I worry about positioning. The Yakattack deluxe trolley works on windy days. But I do like the Anchor wizard anchor design better then your basic fold up 3lb ones

Anchor Wizard!! I bought mine a few months back and still working out a way to install it in place of a rear flush mount pole holder on my yak. Talked with the company multiple time through the order. Yeah there website may be a little sketchy looking and hard to find products but it is legitimate. I have looked at those for quite a while, but haven't bought one yet. I do use an anchor trolley that works pretty well. Also, I use a fined anchor that I rigged to flip upside down if hung up. So far so good. You are well and happier today.

I do not have a FF.. Once a friend peddled up to me and asked me if I was catching fish. I told him NO. He asked why I would be anchored up casting to an area that probably did not have fish then and instead why not peddle around and find them. Since then I have never used any anchor system in a kayak and think I do rather well still..

Anchor wizard #KBFmob. I struggle with boat positioning all the time. I would say its the biggest thing in kayak fishing to be able to position and stay in the area, the frustration of being blown off a spot or being limited to areas with wind coverage is sometimes makes it not much fun to be out on the water.

Just installed mine but havent deployed yet. The spot-lock on my Old Town AP is amazing but it positions you facing into the wind. Some times I want to park and cast down wind. This should do the trick.

Flint River this past weekend had in some places a 4-6mph current. Wish I had the Anchor Wizard I just bought! Could not position yak, stay there, cast, and actually fish!

We recommend the Anchor Wizard as the first accessory at least 3 times a day in our store. Mayyyyybe a rod holder, but get an anchor wizard and then go use it before you buy much else.

You ain't kidding. I have a hybrid sit-in and ended up figuring I needed Groovy Landing Gear behind my seat, to mount it behind me. So far so good, this is 2nd season, gotta tweak a bit but definitely worth the effort.

Anchor Wizard #KBFMob I've actually been working on a few DIY mods that could help me with boat position this season. Still in the testing phase, but they won't replace a good anchor system. I recogized that after my first fishing trip as a 6-year old on a canoe. If you fish out of ANY boat, positioning for casting is #1.

I wish bonafide would make a new dashboard for the ex 123. One that fits into the dashboard position but is a blank slate for customization. I can’t find a good spot to mount an anchor wizard on mine.

Anchor Wizard #KBFmob Like most kayak fishing accessories, these are difficult to find up here in Canada. 'Luckily' for us, our hard winters and fishing regulations don't allow for bass fishing from December until the last weekend of June in most zones. By the time bass season opens up, we're chomping at the bit. It's very hard to get tired of KBF when you have to take a break for 6+ months every year.

Anchor Wizard. Sounds like you are experiencing a "phase change" in this hobby. Happens to a lot of us across different hobbies. I love that you are going back to basics to renew your passion for it. I sincerely hope you find what you are looking for! And I think you will.
