yes, the input is simple, but it's really fucking hard to trigger a while running point blank like that guy was doing. The key here is the little to no distance he needed to do it (although it isn't impossible and great Kings get it consistently)

I think he has Imputs for Giant Swing, Back Dash and Wave Dash set to 1 buttom. Also his combos are PRETTY hard to do and not even the best King players can do it all the time, I think he only adjusted his combo once.

King has never had a wavedash at all so to see that is knew lol.

Fair, and yeah I use to play King before I switched to Lars. Giant Swing can become a simple task with enough training.

So they are saying the king has binded the command for giant swing to a singular button therefore never actually missing the command or his movement never messed up which is another macro he probably has for backdashing, wavedashing, etc....

No. He was doing the same combo every SINGLE time ending with the grab, even close to the wall, where the wall carry combo would have done much more damage. That is definitely a sign of a macro.

idkyobro yes, and for the characters I play I'm used to do iwr moves, and I can tell you that it's impossible, for a human being at least, to do it THAT FAST and most importantly so consistently, not even JDCR, knee, anakin or nobi can get a iwr 100% of the times. That said, you're probably a friend of that player, if not the player himself, for it's impossible, for a sane tekken player, to defend such obvious use of macros.

Jtq He has insanely good execution in terms of wavedashing with King, backdash and being able to pull out iSW consistently. But, fundamentally, he isn't that good. He did a few random hopkicks (-13), f2,1 after whiffing something (it's duckable) and a few df4,3. His defense isn't that good either. It's very possible that he wasn't cheating. Having good execution may make him better and give him good reward, but that wom't make him good. He didn't even sidestep or ducked certain strings and mashed buttons at minus frames, desperately trying to hit Jae with a GS xD

TheLegend27 I've seen crazy execution before in Tag 2 on PS3. Lightdash (super fast wavedash) is possible. What this person is doing is also possible. And he isn't doing shining wizard with one input. You can see him do a small step forward. And let's not forget that it's possible to buffer inputs

It's actually harder on arcade stick. Easier on hitbox. Stick requires a wider range of motion and more precise movements

I don't disagree but I do notice people online that can do custom 10 hit combos with their main but struggle to low block and/or low parry, I wouldn't say they're unskilled but more that their skillset is unbalanced, Their offense is good but their defense is terrible.

Marvin. it's "Custom" 10 hit combos. as in, the thing you do yourself and not the thing you look up on the movelist. Most custom combos that includes launchers could only go as far as 6 to 9 hits. if it hits a wall, it could go up to 18 (but only if your character is well kitted for wall combos). 10 is a rare number of hits because by the time you're on your 8th juggle hit, you've already used your screw tip attack so you can barely reach your opponent with any move at that point UNLESS if you use movement commands that pushes your character forward faster than both dashing and running (like King's Wavedash) but movement commands are often really hard to pull off and so only the really good players could go past 10 hits on a custom combo.

really? Executing a repeating dash that quick is impossible with king cause his dash is hard to execute. Doing that many dashes without any mistakes is dumb. If he were to be that good, he would understand everything the game has to offer but he cant even consistently block lows and punishes seems a bit fishy

Actually you could see when the majority of the moves started to look suspiciously the same and with that oddly timed execution as it was literally based off of macros. Also what @MDRY+ pointed out. His defense was suspect as fuck with the no defense on low blocks as I know true King players offer no free openings like that also would go for a low parry punish to a throw command if need be.

I mean you can look at the vid and see those movements are irregular and the King player had a alarming lack of defense when attacked as no Vet to Pro level King player is going to allow such attacks to go through in such a free matter.

A macro is a button that can be set to have a specific command or specific set of commands done with just one press of that button. For example there are macros loaded with the perfect ewgf notation so people can literally do one button electrics. Usually macros are only seen on modded sticks/controllers and PC's. A good example of a macro is the story assist and rage assist in the story mode of Tekken

Boudusei macros aren't tournament legal

duhhh, a macro is lame to use to begin with and obviously it's not allowed in tournaments. However a player should not lose to another player only due to him using a macro. It makes combo's easier that is for sure but it doesn't teach the macro user the basics or anything.

It's not just combos. You can see if a King is gonna use GiantSwing or ShiningWizard before they throw it by looking at their movement. This King makes is impossible to see cause the macros makes those movements instant causing it to be a 50/50 between the throws.
