Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but it just seems also like he has a setup if you break that Chloe throw to put you at a good range for backswing. That was so fun to watch!
Not surprised. Always knew how tough Lucky Chloe was through my experience against her online. I struggle against noobs who cheesed their way to high ranks using her. Was always worried about having to face an actual good player who uses her cause then she would turn deadly.
also when i first saw this i was blown away that kwiss didn’t take it lmao but kaizur canceling that low and faking out into another low was so sick lmao
To be fair, there was no footsies going on. He used it well, but he never once backdashed to get it to hit, he just did it when he felt he could get away with it and took advantage of the built in evasion.
Something I hate about the Tekken community is that people who play aggressively or have an unorthodox style are called mashers. Like, heaven forbid that someone isn't super patient and doesn't just use poking tools all match.
It shouldn't be. Kaizur was at the wall so the whiff was just Tekken being Tekken. Still props that he reacted to the whiff. I just would be holding back for life against Hwo with my back against the wall
17:05 That face lmao, yea chloe rage drive has a follow up where you have to time 1+2 that does fck ton of damage, most of her rage arts/drive has a gimmicky rhythm game to it
Tier lists apply but only on a personal level you cant expect the same gameplay or the same respect from a random stranger but if we are about to deathmatch and let's say we are on the same execution and knowledge level then tiers are a thing.
A crazy play style can take you farther than you think. I've beaten players who are far more skilled than me with my Crazy Raven play style. I've also been beaten by crazy play styles coming from Alisa and Bryan players. To a certain extent, crazy play styles work.
so if awais honey on Akuma loses 5 sets 4:1 to TheJon with Heihachi it means Akuma is lower Tier, since they know each other very well and both adepted their playstyle on the opponent multiple times. Thanks for the teach.
Technically any character could, its more the mindset behind how he's playing: if you wanna be patient, he'll 50/50, if you wanna use pressure, get backswinged. Not a chloe specific strat
Player was really good with very pleasing to watch fight style unlike some greats with whole matches spammed by df1 and KBD. Character design is the problem for most of the people, fighting style of Chloe is pretty nice.
Its crazy how many people aren't seeing the clear strategy Kaizur was using against Farzeen: he's using the backswing and power crush to get around fff3 and demon flip mixups, in addition to opening up space for the longer inputs for his own running moves by making his opponent more hesitant to attack or use normal frame advantages, its really not as crazy as it looks, just high risk high reward
Yeah he used it in good situations, I mean that's literally his playstyle so he knows very well when it might actually hit. Also hopkick as keep out and to crush jabs.
@@Tryhardfann I dont think the definition of Lucky Chloe is high risk high reward at all, that would be: "Big damage, but otherwise sh*tty character." There are plenty of good Chloe players who don't rely heavily on backswing blows, that seems unique to Kaizur
Kaizur was not lucky to land that many backswing launches. He had a much better grip on what he was doing than people give him credit for. It wasn't just ung bunga crazy. Crazy is not this consistent at getting the results you want.
I respect it, as much as I pull my hair out against these kinda “cheesy” characters if you manage to win, even if it’s partly due a lack character knowledge on your opponent’s part you should still be proud of it. Of course when people learn the match-up you might start losing but until they do keep doing you. Risks, confusion and trickery are sometimes the core of a character’s strength rather than fundamental and safe play. Also it’s fun as hell to watch players like Kaizur and Eyemusician making the best in world lose their minds😂
She isn't the most cheesy character, the gimmick is her unsafe moves have evasive properties that make them avoid the optimal punish, and makes other people's unsafe moves wiff. But to get the wiff part you and your opponent need to hit the button at almost the same time.
11:40 he did the same mistake because the brain goes: "He's gonna press now for sure!" And not: "He's gonna do backswing!" In a FT2 you can't adapt. Others adapted seeing this shit before they had to play Kaizur in the first place. Then again Kaizur either was ready for the match up knowing that this option will beat Akumer's wr move or he got lucky (LUCKY~!) with the opponent.
Kaizur : Misses backswing blow Kaizur : your only minus if your a scrub *Does backswing blow a second time in a row and does 99999 damage to the opponent*
To me, Kaizur figured out his opponent's spacing after the first match, and improved as the match went on, coz all those backswing blows were perfectly placed! And if you've versed a good lucky chloe player, you know she has some insane evasive moves, her u4 hopkick is literally highcrushes and almost unpunishable btw lol
The only thing that was lucky is the character's name. Everything else is calculated, well-practiced, and perfectly executed. Such awesome plays, looking forward for more :)
@@muhtadaali8847 he likes to act like he’s above others but he gets salty when he loses online to stuff like bob. And you can bet he got salty here playing against Chloe. Like it’s fine to admit you get mad at the game. You don’t have to act like you’re this god who never gets upset by anything. It’s always nice to see him get knocked down a peg or two 😂
@@Ritsu362 He does get salty, but everyone does. Idk, but I never really get that feeling of superiority from him, am I missing something? I've never heard him seriously say that he is a god at Tekken.
@@genzo454 I commented on one his video where he was saying why gigias is trash and that people that do good are just getting lucky, that I think that gigas is solid with his frames and he can actually do decently and that kwiss doesn’t know what he’s talking about since he probably doesn’t play gigas much. He responded by saying his opinion matters more because he’s actually good at the game 😕 and then he deleted my comment chain from his video. It’s not something you would get from watching his videos, just from how he interacts with some viewers
I don't like lucky Chloe same as you but the way he played her made me want to genuinely practice playing lucky Chloe.but I don't think akuma's the right character for Brother Farzeen. He was dropping a lot of combos
@@jR0xas Yeah I hadn't watched farzeen before and the way he was playing made it look like he hasn't played akuma that much but it looks like it was a bad day for him maybe he's a bit rusty
He was pressured because when you don't expect such character in good hands then you have to control nerves and he is just a kid Kaizur really performed well
Farzeen is young (18) and inexperienced. This is his first big tournament (first time traveling) so he was defintely mentally effected. Normally back in Pakistan, he has matches where even Arslan has trouble beating him.
YEEEEEEESH finally, I have been waiting for your commentary! best youtuber to react and do commentary i.m.o. :D You were probably the reason I started getting into Tekken again since childhood due to your videoes about Arslan Ash (who is still my favorite, thanks to you) I really love your content and I have been waiting and hoping for you to react, commentary and analyse the matches from CEO and of course also the hype matches with Arslan Ash :) much love and support from Denmark!
Being top tier is a double edged sword. An example is Wesker and Phoenix in Marvel Vs Capcom 3. They were incredibly OP (and still OP after whatever patches) but they were used so much that everybody that bothered to study the characters knew most of the setups and animations and tricks that nothing was working, and those two characters quickly fell off the Pro player's character roster. Some stuck to them but for very specific reasons (team makup, combo potential, etc.). But rarely did anybody use Wesker and Phoenix for the purpose of OPing out the other guy.
Not surprised kwiss lost, he seems to think if you are from the US, you can’t be that good. If he was playing a top Korean player he would respect their skill set a little more I think.
it comes across as more of as a trade-off, since release her gimmick has mostly been easy to counter but she has always had high damage, but now that everyone has high damage the trade-off is no longer looking fair, also the tracking nerf removed her highest damage combo.
People complain about lucky Chloe but let Akuma or geese get a whole death combo function.. I dont care how hard it is to play them shouldn't be a thing it can do decent danmage but not a whole bar of health... plz shut up
More on that, the death combos come out of 10 or 12 frame jab attacks and you can hit confirm it. If it's a hit, the combos will work and if it is blocked then your combo doesn't come out, you and your akuma's meter is safe, still ready for use.
The title of this video has been my mindset my entire life. Difficulty be damned. Either you make the correct decisions and have the necessary skills and focus to complete your objective or you don't.
Its like kazumi no ones using her cause of her design. So no one knows what kind of monster is she. Until someone won on evo and every says nerf her. She could be really annoying and abusive trust me.
Beside the frame disadvantage, Lucky Chloe is a 150kg muscle man inside her. She pack a bazillion damage in her, her 50/50 is too good. You can win 50 streak with Lucky Chloe or Nina in the low-mid rank if you know how to handle her. I struggled with her all the time in Yellow rank.
It's already on his Twitter, 3 days ago: "Didn’t expect my game to be first on stream so I just walked straight in no warm up and just played. No excuses, Kaizur played well and it’s time for my trademark Loser’s bracket run"
During the stream a guy in chat asked if this was Pakistan space program , i fucking died there lmao . Offline Tekken is great i miss TWT and evo so much
Chloe’s running 3 is very underrated; very plus on block and unlike most running 3s it gives a guaranteed follow-up on hit with dash up b1 (even mid stage)
