RAM speed has nothing to do with RAM amount. Also, speed is defined by Mhz, not by the distance from the chip. There are different tricks you can employ to speed up the connection... It's just Apple marketing speak, like always.

The Legion Slim 7 7840HS is soon to arrive. The Pro 5 with 7745HX was using 25W while idling, according to notebookcheck review. The Legion Slim 5 has more efficient CPU, but there is very fragile thinn plastic part in the body where the ventilation holes are and panels connect together. Pro 7 AMD 7945hX is expected to be 2.8 Kg, no thanks. I pick between Slim 7 AMD, and HP AMD firefly G10 or Elitebook G10 (Firefly has 100% p3, but Elitebook 100% srgb). HP has no dedicated GPU, but it's ultraportable with 64GB RAM and 780M integrated GPU can use 32GB.
It’s actually the 9 7940hs with slim 7 also. Lenovo legion has an unfortunate habit of hiring Idiots to write their press releases and website pages. The consequence is that they are full of typos and mistakes
I can't believe you just said Apple can make 8 gig work like 12 or 16 😁it's only increase the speed and decrease the loading times and maybe you get some few more FPS if you're playing games ,nothing more . Furthermore now chiplet design in laptop is not exclusive for Apple anymore Microsoft used this technology too ( thanks to Intel Foveros technology ) in the new Surface books and they make a Cycles render in the interview and it was very promising.
Can I do Digital Art on the MSI GF65 Thin 9SD Intel Core i5-10300H 8GB Gaming Laptop? I ask because every time I connected it to my XP Pen Artist Pro 16 it get a little heated and the fan get a little too hard on its spins. If you wanna know my spec for this laptop is a MSI GF65 Thin 9SD that has a Intel Core i5-10300H/8GB Memory Ram, and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX-3060 Mobile.
I also do some video editing - best buy now offers rog flow 3060 for 1,099.99 and aero 16 3070ti for 1499. Would you choose 1st, 2nd or something else? Can you use external monitor 4k with any of them?
@@denicandra9782 fair point. But M1 laptops are cheaper than M2 as well. So if we are comparing laptops as of today, I would say that G14 2023 model is pretty expensive. Though the 2022 model is indeed a mid range.
@@Roman-rh2dk i agree,in my opinion if you're not planing to buy rtx 4080 or 4090 laptop...actually last year laptops with rtx 3060 or 3070, rx 6700 are sets a much better value for money
