NEVER IN MY LIFE did I think I would find time to watch a dude giving tips on lawncare. I am like 6 months deep with YardBrah and come to work late because of this channel lmfao. DUDE WTFFFF
Doing a yard renovation in my back yard. First time doing it. Seeded with perennial rye Thursday last week just peeked this morning and we have germination! What a rewarding thing to see.
Not to be a Debby downer but love the vids you're always entertaining I lost my brother last Tues and I'm glad for the vids this past week to keep my mind busy
YardBrah is leaving his camera on the corner to film the c10 taking off.. I love that shit! Gotta be annoying going back for that all the time though. 😂
Yard Brah!! Thanks for sharing what you have learned about doing things in "tha lawn". I am learning from you on how to make my lawn dominate. I was always good with mowing the lawn but have learned a ton from you on how to manage weeds and make my grass thrive. Keep on keeping on brother!! Semper Fi (and thank you Dad for giving us Jarheads a ride).
Nice YardBrah! I was just as anxious to throw down the same Blackout. Thanks for all the tips and entertainment. The process was completed last Monday and have germination at day 6. I went heavy, 8 on Scotts lol and watering 4times per day. GL I can’t wait to see your results!
I needed this video! I can’t seed my St Aug but I’m leveling and feeding and putting plenty of iron. Thank you so much for all of the info, I can’t wait to get my first EGo!!
I pre germinated blackout TTTF for 5 days before seeding and had sprouts within 2 days. After one week I have full germination and grass height is already 1-2 inches. I’m in the high 90s zone 9b, I had to water 7x a day for 5 minutes to keep it wet.
I bought some scotts topsoil with fertilizer because it had less wood chips in it than other brands/bags but it refused to come out of the spreader and just clumped. Had to try and spread it but hand and use rank.took forever. Then aerated right into my foot after being careless
brah, you may not need to go off-label with the glypho. Scalping it very low could provide the injury you need, then after a few days of regrowth, high labeled rate of glyph. Cool content nonetheless
I remember in an older video you said to keep watering even after you put down that kill all. My head told me “why water down the chemical, and hydrate the grass. If you want to kill it, spray the chemical and don’t water. Pretty sure the grass will die with heat, no water and kill all chemical.” Just my 2 cents.
He did mention this but you're exactly right... DO NOT WATER!! 😂 In fact the best way to kill off your lawn is to let it grow tall tall, spray the glyphosate only when there is NO rain in the forecast for as many days as possible, wait a minimum of 7 days before disturbing it whatsoever (this is in the instructions of killzall for a reason) , & then scalp it! Leave it alone after that until it's completely crispy brown from "NOT WATERING" & then wait until the day you are ready to seed to do all these steps.... Then voila!!
Will any type of weed killer with glyphosate be good for new seeds as well?? Like stuff from tractor supply.. Even thought it's not round up. ... I just dethatched the heck out for the front and was going to keep the "buffet" but now I just want that fireball hattrick combo! Amazing vid man!
Classic YB video my dude! Those 30 mins just flew by🤙🏽 Interesting to see how ur “process” has evolved a bit yb. If it doesnt grow it will be bc of the glypho. Thats a new step my dude!
Yes you know me trying to test things out people say work for them.... Glypho has no soil altering properties it just affects the plant... so we will see for sure what I am worried about is the triclopyr that is in the new round up it says 3 weeks wait time... it's only been a week since my last triclopyr round up app 😬😂🤙🏾
Damn...Kentucky strong. I bet some that stuff gonna survive. Great tutorial. Find it interesting you can glyso and seed same day. Tryso 3 week sounds more safer. But you da expert. But that space toxic like mofo right now...dem birds ain't want no part of that, lol. Fingers crossed for you. Cannot wait for two weeks to lapse.
Can't wait to see the results man! Have you ever thought about creating a lawn care plan? Something in writing we can refer to would be awesome! Keep it up bro!
Brah, do you find the Amick aerator on the wheel worth the cost? I've used the manual stepping method the last two years and it makes me want to off myself 😅
Any time I use the step one I feel the same 😂 You know me I like to make things easy... as you can see I have 2 of them I am not sponsored in any way I paid for them... I will never go back to stepping the entire property 😂🤙🏾
Hey YardBrah! When you pregerminate your seeds and used Milorganite to put them down, do you still use starter fertilizer? Thanks for this lawn reno video! Been waiting for this.
Hey brah what size of hoses do you recommend with those sprinklers and how many sprinklers do u think I would need for a 1k sqft also do the sprinklers u have in the description do they do different sprays or does one spray further than the others? Thanks for your input also I'm from Texas would it be better to renovate my lawn now or next year in March/April?
What’s the latest with the clown behind you dumping the lawn clippings back up on your back-back, when you clearly dropped them on the City’s strip between the retaining wall and that white tape which runs along all the properties to delineate their property line? Or is there something we’re missing? 🤔
As I was doing this process he was outside with his friend just staring at me 😂 If he got closer I would have asked if that's his property and if so I would have apologized... but that old man provokes but avoids confrontation 💀😂🤙🏾
Right now I'm using the copper bullet it's the best! amzn.to/3Xh0Zyx the one in the back is a harbor freight hose and is complete garbage it's my 4th one... just waiting for it to break and I'll buy another copper bullet for the back 😂🤙🏾
@@YardBrah I’m trying my hardest to see it through but idk I’ll see if I get some sign of germination here if not milorganite mix is going down here in south Texas.
Love it man! Good stuff. Do you have an email I could hit you up with for some questions? Trying to revive my front and back yards over here in Tacoma.
@@YardBrah question I plan to overseed TTTF as well. I relatively have all new sod that was put in in March of this year with my new construction home. Do you suggest dethatching and areating in my case? I'm a new homeowner on a new construction build since march.
