i have two of them on my roque rack. i use them to hold my legs down for lat pull downs also with my rhino belt squat. glute ham raises, single leg lunges, leg curls, arm curls. Lots of good uses for them. great product.
Certainly agree! Superior to ALL other rollers on the market in EVERY WAY imaginable!!! Honestly surprised that Sorinex isn't on the same level in terms of quality considering they're not far off on pricing/also American made...oh well 🤷♂️
@@BasementBrandon just bought 6k worth of rogue equipment (including your bench prop 💪) due in large part to the quality of your reviews! Thanks for doing what you do!! 🙏💪
When I got my Rep ones I paid $184 shipped to my door for the pair, so they were substantially cheaper than the other options at the time, driving that decision. Now that I’ve had them for a year though, I have had to take a pair of washers and coat them in UHMW tape to keep the ring from scratching the backside of my rack, which would be a potential issue with Sorinex as well. If the prices are more equivalent today, this would be another reason I would probably go with Rogue if I were to buy mine today.
Yeah that’s solid. Seen that on Instagram too. I’m getting a leg roller attachment from Titan to hold down my legs on my lat tower and for single legs as well
Everything Rogue is 'expensive" tired of hearing that in comments. Don't buy it or work to afford the things that bring value to you personally. I just got this and super great addition to my RM-4. Thanks for the great comparison video and all the video reviews you have out there.
I think like most things there are people who just want the utility so spending more on something with nicer finishes, made in USA or whatever else you think of just isn’t of value to them. Congrats on the set up!
Yes, it should fit. I have the rogue monster landmine 2.0 on my Rep Pr5000 v2 and it has the same screw as these leg rollers. So, as Brandon said you can tighten the screw and it won’t budge.
I own the Rep ones and TBH the play doesn’t bother me at all. I also bought them before they started including shipping in the price so they only cost me $69 each. With the new price point, it may be worth going Rogue. Also +1 I use them to do nordic curls which are basically glute ham raises.
Ironically, the leg roller is one of the only attachments that is better on the REP PR4000 than the 5000 series: sturdy locking pin, extra long so all u need is 1 for lat pull downs. You alright, two rollers open up so many different exercises in a rack. Thanks for the review, I have a few friends with 1" bolt racks and will send them this link!
@@BasementBrandon thanks for your honesty. I have been on the fence on whether buying these arms or not. I just can’t justify the price knowing that I might not use them on a regular basis. My dollars could be put to better use somewhere else.
Great review. Did you find the leg rollers with pins, the pins scratch/dig into the rack? I'm concerned my leg rollers with the pins will eventually cause a big dent into my rack
Just returned from my garage (I have the Rogue Monster Lite version that uses a J-Cup style mount with hitch pin.) It is not as solid as the Monster version, as there is some 'play' (as one would expect from a J-cup without UHMW.)
What is going on with that hyperextension clip you show? How is that lower roller doing *anything* since it's in front of the ankle instead of behind? Is there something I don't see holding his ankles against the roller, because if not it's just his shoes' grip keeping him from faceplanting over the upper roller. I can't find the video to see if it's explained. Also, yes, the Rogue rollers are very nice. My only real complaints are that the inside washer should be captive just like it is on the nut, and that they aren't covered in the same grippy material as my REP bench. But those screw-on nuts are very well done.
Question - can the Rogue one be used in any 3x3 rack with 1” holes? Or can it only be used with the Rogue keyhole system? I agree that the Rogue bolt system is the best, but I don’t have a Rogue rack
Yes, this is literally the only reason why I'm considering a leg roller. If not, could you please make a video showing this and other variations of exercises with GHR? Thank you.
do you take it out and switch sides when you switch legs if you are doing barbell single leg squats? I like to do bulgarian squats with a SSB and am trying to imagine how I would use this
Yeah if you're going to be doing work inside the rack with a bar you'd prob buy a 2nd one, or just switch sides. I will sometimes use my hip thruster bench for this purpose as it covers the entire width or the rack.
You mentioned you had the Rep 5000 rack.... I just ordered the Ares and will need a leg roller or 2 for the lat pull downs.... I see many 5000 Ares use 2, do you think 1 from rogue will work for the length? Great videos, thanks man
Great channel and review. I actually have two questions. Where did you get your White J-Cups with your logo on it? Is the logo engraved or a sticker? Also are your Rogue Monster Arms in the video special ordered from Rogue? I see that they are white to match your rack but the only ones I see on the site are black.
The cups are from bridgebuilt. They're lasered and layered with a clear plastic covering. For the arms, Rogue will sometimes customize things for an added fee. However right now it's hit or miss on what items they'll do.
Any tips on how I might be able to get a leg roller attachment to fit my 2.5 x 2.5" rack with 1" holes? Was thinking about getting some 1/4" thick rubber and gluing it on the attachment to accommodate for the size difference. Or maybe I just need to invest in new rack!
Hey Brandon what is your ceiling height? I’m moving to a new house with 8 ft ceilings in my basement and just curious how it’s going to work out and what yours is in comparison. I’m a little worried about pull Ups.
Great video man. I was looking through your channel and didn’t see a review for the rogue trolley arms. If you got time I’d love to know your thoughts on those.
I wish I could find rollers that had the same attachment as the Rogue does, but with a 5/8" fitting for a 2"x3" rack. I have a Titan rack and it's worked out fine with other attachments, but the Titan leg roller won't really work for anything other than as a hold down for lat pulls.
@@BasementBrandon Just an FYI. There's now a leg roller option that fits 5/8" racks that are 2x3. CFT performance. I figured it would be overstepping to throw in a link, but I did get one and it definitely does the job.
I have an updated short on those. They were not available at the time this video was made. Basics are it's a firmer, bigger pad that allows color customization. Pretty sweet.
Love your videos! very informative and useful information that people can use. I do have a question regarding using the rogue leg roller, can those fit on Rep Fitness PR5000?
Good review and interesting locking mechanism. Only critique is that they aren't all the same price. REP at $99 shipped, Rogue at $115 + shipping = about $30 difference in cost per roller. I think we need to add this to our list to update at some point with a better securing mechanism and UHMW.
Good call. These have been out of stock for awhile so wasn't sure if price updates now with free shipping were still TBD. I will say I really like how you guys use the same gripper material as your benches on your rollers!
@@BasementBrandon sorry this are the rigjt meassurments for the RML Length 17.75" overall, 13" pad for $87.50 AND $ 120. For the 22" long but I think this one is only for Monster racks. So probably the ine that will fit is the smaller one rigjt RML
@@BasementBrandon: The Sorinex Mobility Maker Bench can be stored against a wall on its 'end' and probably takes-up about the same space as the Rogue/Westside Barbell 'Scout' Reverse Hyper (when it's folded-up & leaning against a wall.)
