Fantastic review! The fact that you also run us through how to actually use the panels is an awesome touch (whereas most would just focus on the output itself) so thank you for that! These lights are now on my list of upgrades for my own studio production - thanks Jason :)
Thanks! These lights are great, I use them in my studio all the time. If you wanted a more powerful set of the same type of lights, I also did a review of them, check them out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_cyOi1wzEqs.html This other set is defiantly brighter, but also a little more expensive.
@@JasonYadlovski Thanks for the heads-up! But I went ahead and purchased the 880RS set of 3 about half an hour ago :) can't wait to get them this weekend and set them up! Thanks again for the truly awesome and useful unboxing and review!
Awesome! I think you’ll find the lights work very well! I’d love to hear what you think of them, drop a comment back after you use them if you get a chance. 😁👍
Hey Jason, Great video... Loved the acting/demonstrations for the different scene modes... that was awesome. I have been looking to upgrade lighting. If I ever decide to do it, I may need to look into this kit. Thanks!
Hey Will - thanks man! It is a pretty sweet kit. I’m surprised at the output that they have. The battery option is nice too. Thanks for checking out the video! 😁👍
@@JasonYadlovski that they are, and they work really well in your studio too 🤘. Cheers for the continued inspiration man. I hope you and yours are safe and well.
Nice demo of the light gear. You seemed to have a lot of experience either in police mode. Should we be concerned… ( lol ) Glad to see you on the roster for ResolveCon too! Should be a blast.
Just informed by GVM support. If your need is the colored light, then 880rs would be brighter than 1000D. 1000D has more balanced daylight and rgb light, so the color is relatively balanced, so is the output.
@@JasonYadlovski should I get the 3kit or just two? I have a godox 60w already. What would be the best choice to diffuse these LED? Muslin/umbrella/5-1/softbox. Im planning to use it as a cinematic lights inside a little.

Hi! They sell the lights in both a two pack as well as a three pack. Maybe you purchased a two pack? You can always send it back and then re-purchase the correct one if you want.
Hey John - I don't know if you can attach a soft box to them, but they would defiantly be better with a soft box attached. I've never tried it, but for example when I light up myself, with my Godox SL60W with a softbox, it produces nicer light than these panels, even with the little diffusion filter in them. The light is still pretty good on the panels and I do use them all the time. I think soft boxes always make the lights look better overall. Hope this helps!
@@JasonYadlovski haven't you tried diffuser cloth over the barn doors the wuality is high but surely it would be easy ough to fashion a soft box or atleast cloth to soften the light
