Thanks for the video. I'm travelling to NE Scotland, playing Fraserburgh, preceded by Moray Old, Cullen and Royal Montrose this May. That must be a selection of courses that's tough to beat.
Played this yesterday, 6th july 22, 140 yards 5 iron . Still missed the green due to wind . Fab course would certai ly come back hopefully less windy ... AKA whoooly
thanks for the video and the tour of scottish golf courses. I love Scotland and was last in Fraserburgh in 2016 and did not dare to play the course. Now I regret it a little bit, especially when I see the pictures of you. Please continue, I am looking forward to more videos. Gladly also over smaller 9 hole courses, because they are sometimes also very beautiful. Let's see how bad it gets with the brexite and if we can come back again. regards Mario
@@LinsklandGolf Let's see where we go on our next vacation. I would like to go back to SCO in 2021, but we will have to wait and see. Then it is still a little bit of driving and since we have children, the stages between the campsites shouldn't be too long. The first stop we usually make around Callander, Killin when we come from the ferry from Newcastle. From there it is really long to Fraserburgh, just above Aberdeen. It's usually long enough to get to Ballater or Aberfoyle from there. Since we always stay a few days on site, there is also time to get around. My wife used to live on the Black Isle for a while, so it's obligatory to stop by there but we also like Inverness very much. On top of that there is always a "duty visit" to Ullapool, we love the city and the area. Too many beautiful places and too little time. And I still have a few golf courses where I really want to play. One is Thraig, south of Mallaig and then Lochcarron, which was recommended to me. Especially because there you play around a church. The last two courses I played in SCO were Ullapool and Iona.
Awesome. I'm currently trying to visit some of the Links around the NE. Trip to Lossie (Moray) and Hopeman sometime next week (will be tempted to squeeze in Covesea as well!) - but I'm really overdue a trip up to Fraserburgh. Would you rate this course much above Inverallochy?
