Shame on you for promoting this golf course! Did you see what they did to the land and how they took the basic necessity of water away from Molly Forbes and her family to build it?? You should watch the film called "You've Been Trumped Too" (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k9RweR9EUSg.html) and see for yourself. Absolutely disgusting.
Wow! When did they place those horrid giant windmills in the water? Cruden Bay was my first choice, then this course second around Aberdeen of the two courses that I played a few years back. The greens at the Trump course were savagely undulating. Both courses had the wind push the golf ball off the putting green while at rest. Rounds were played in early September month. Maybe one day go back to play others. Nice vid!
Wind farm was added about 6 years ago. We have a video showing all three courses you mention coming soon. Played it in the same day. Hope you get back to this area soon. We have some great links golf courses
🎉🎉🎉 great stuff Ru !!! The best thing Ru will let you know is that a once in a lifetime trip to Bonnie Scotland can be had without a round on the Old Course - there is so much wonderful about this wee country - don’t let that guaranteed tee time stop you from coming!!!
G’day mate , from Sydney, planning a golf trip to Scotland for my retirement in 2026, looking forward to the information you will supply in future videos 👍👍
Nice video Ru... played Cruden Bay a few times and loved it. There is so much great golf in Scotland and can't wait to see your golf adventures. We are back again from the states this August! Our sixth trip... we go nowhere else!!
Never really understood this tbh. I live not far from St Andrews and I've never hit a ball. My mate caddies there from time to time. But I just don't get the game at all. I guess people like different things but I guess my prime location is just wasted! lol
Totally agree with everything you've said. Played most of the courses in East Lothian and loved Killspindie. I would also highly recommend The Glen and Dunbar. While North Berwick, Gullane and Muirfiled are more well known, these are more friendly in both the golf and the atmosphere. Chating to the members on the courses and in the clubhouses makes you feel welcome. We also love Archerfield.
Truly a great links course, I'd encourage anyone who hasn't played it, to make the effort. As a local, I've had the good fortune to play it many times.
