Hi autumn..always waiting for your video. thanks for the tips, I think it’s a good idea to put a folded longchamp or a clutch in the Neverful/tote bag. I will put the scarf on the top so I will feel more safe. Or I will use the large longchamp and put the luxurious crossbody bag/clutch inside.

I use a scarf or a shawl to place on top of my items in my tote bag, too. It is an extra level coverage. 😏

I have to defend the wristlet that comes with the Nf. I use this daily as a grab and go. It fits my LV Cles with keys on the clasp, my iPhone 8+, air pods, roller ball, lip gloss and lip stick and it can fit my sunglasses ( no case) .Perfect for any time plus travel!!

Since I have a history of back pain, a back surgery, and a herniated disk under control I carry a lightweight handbag 👜 especially on trips. I looked high and low and settled on a black Baggallini that can be worn hand carry, shoulder carry, or cross body. It packs a punch for its small size. With it I will carry a roll up black nylon bag for purchases (even here in the States) so that I don’t advertise my purchases. That’s just me and many prior years of being married to a police commander. Some of those stories you hear are true, at least the “tea stories” scams in China. We were approached twice with those so it helped to know beforehand. Another good informative video, by the way! Hope you are enjoying your summer!

Thanks for the tips, its very helpful. My family and I going to Cambodia in December and I plan on bringing my LV Lymington because that bag is versatile that you can use as shoulder, crossed body and handle.

I used my Neverfull when I went to Poland last month, and it was great for keeping my essentials handy in the plane. Especially since there was an emergency on the plane and I had to change seats. I left my carryon in the overhead near my original seat because I didn’t need it with me.

Happy Summer! I still have two more weeks of school, but am so happy it is almost over. Just made a list of books I want to read over summer break, and I want to fix up my office work space, and paint one of our bathrooms. I also have a couple of road trips planned to Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival. I love my Neverfull GM for both air and road travel, and will also bring my Pochette Accessoires to wear crossbody during the day. Great video, Autumn!

Great video! I bought my Neverfull because of your videos! And I have my favorite in Damier Ebene for almost 2 years now and I use it nonstop and never had issue with the closure and it’s a really easy bag! The only time I felt a little unsecured about flap opening was at the Ultra festival just because I was jumping up and down constantly! 😅 so if you don’t jump your good! 😂✋🏻

Hi Autumn, I always travel with my Neverfull GM. I stuff it full and it still fits under the seat in front of me. I use my Gucci Disco Soho or my pochette accessoire with a monogram crossbody strap for sight seeing seeing and use my Chanel WOC for evenings. I also bring a packable nylon shopping bag that folds up into itself, purchased from IKEA, to use when picking up random purchases.

Loved this! I carry my Neverfull GM for carryon but I use a pouchette Métis (crossbody) when I’m out and about and will be using the same setup in Paris for my honeymoon! I used it in Dublin and everyone told me not to because of pickpockets and I didn’t have a problem. On my cruises to places like the Bahamas I use an inspired by Chanel Jumbo bag (with no labeling or whatever) when I get off the boat because I like how much it can carry and I like the look. I just dont want to endanger a real leather bag with the sun and water, you know? When I get on the boat I check a suitcase and carry my Neverfull GM and Keepall 50 around with me. I really want to find one of the LV Prism Keepalls. I know it’s just glorified plastic but I love it.

Thank you, Autumn, great video as always! I agree with you, my experience while traveling to several destinations, including NYC, is quite positive and "scare free". Of course bad things can happen, but I still believe that to be the exception, not the rule xxx big hug from Portugal xxx :)

I purchased a Speedy 35 azur preloved last summer before my trip to Italy and I used that bag as my “carry on” and it was amazing! There’s so much space for my SLG’s where I store my travel essentials and then I used it as my daytime bag when I was out sightseeing so I didn’t leave it in the hotel alone. As for evening bags when I travel I don’t want to put anything in my suit case that’s too expensive so I use my toiletry 26 as a clutch to dress up my outfit and it works like a charm! Also the fact that I can store my toiletries inside when inside the suitcase is always a plus as for storage! Haha

Hi Autumn, thanks for this informative video! Just what I needed!!! I am also a teacher but holidays are still a month away here in Germany ... 🙈 we are flying to Crete this summer and its going to be a mix of beach/active/drive around holiday at a small family owned hotel . Great video as always, another substitute for the NF (for those of us who want a tote with a zipper) is “The All In” by Louis Vuitton, it comes in MM and GM, mine is the MM, I have used it many times and it holds a ton plus the kitchen sink!

Great tips. Louis Vuitton started in travel pieces, so I personally love to use my LV pieces when I go places. I have actually checked a vintage Keepall on an airplane - would I do it again? Probably not. But the bag is perfectly fine, it just stressed me out a bit. I like to take a Keepall 50 for road trips too and if I’m staying in a hotel, I just keep my smaller luxury items in the safe if I’m leaving the room and not using those pieces, like a Chanel WOC or mini. There’s not much you can do with your bigger pieces, but I think theft from your room is not that common and you just have to enjoy your travels and not worry too much.

Nice video! I traveled last summer with the LV Estrella MM, which is zippered & with Vachetta, and got caught in a torrential downpour. 😢 This summer, I will travel with my Neverfull GM in Damier Ebene, and put a folded Speedy in it for destination use.

Went to south Of France last year I was traveling with a LV zipped Babylon. While standing on a train platform I had a coffee in one hand and a danish in the other. This forced my shoulder bag to rest on my back. Remember it was zipped! When I got off the train my wallet was gone! They’re really professional! I now only wear a crossbody that hangs in front or under a coat. And I limit what I carry daily and leave the rest in the room safe.

If you want to take a luxury bag to a place where you will not be robbed, take a smaller one like a WOC bag, or a small crossbody. Smaller bags are easier to carry.

The only time I've heard of saving on a brand new bag from an LV boutique is by buying overseas where prices are lower or by shopping with a department store where you get cash back (or some other store deal) when using their store card. I've never done either so I can't get into specifics.

Smaller bags, no logos or recognizable patterns. I always carry a longchamp. I want to blend in. Not to be a target to get mugged. Also it makes people charge more for some stuff since they think if you have a fancy bag then you have money to spend.

Just bought a keepall 50. Love but still a bit concerned about traveling with it alone...I normally don't travel alone but may after my move this summer. Bought a pink hard shell carryon yrs ago from Overstock I love but it doesn't stay stable when you walk fast or turn, sometimes tips. Guess I love wheeled cartons but not in Vuitton. I splurged on this. But it is not as heavy as I would have thought. Didn't carry a laptop in it and just an extra pr of Birkenstocks w my clothes for 3 days easily.❣

We live in Hong Kong. You can and should carry anything you want here. I do, however, leave my luxury bags at home when traveling to SE Asia and next month to Europe (never traveled there). I don't want to be a target. Also, don't want to look too "above" the population anywhere. I do assume most people are carrying replica bags here too, unless they look pretty fancy.

Who told you does "stories" about Italy? 🙄 I am Italian and I can tell you that nobody ever robbed me, I mean if you look out for your stuff nobody would bother you, but most of the tourists are not very careful with their belongings, and bad people are everywhere.

I agree. Same in New York or pretty much anywhere. We heard about it on various travel videos.
