Btw if you need any parts to convert an LM7 to a front mounted cam sensor, search Rockauto for a 2006 Trailblazer with 5.3. This engine was designated an LH6 and was a 24x aluminum block 5.3. Stay away from oil pan though. For ex. the timing cover is Pioneer #500LS2 for $55. The timing set is Cloyes CLO-C3220 for $31. The sub harness that wraps around the timing cover so your main harness doesn’t get tangled up in the balancer is DORMAN 645526 for $13. Can’t beat that. Anything else just search Rockauto. When I get to the cam installation part of my build I’ll call out all of these parts.
