This week is open great league and master premier league. Master Premier is a XL league but no legendary or mythical pokemon are allowed.
In this video we go over the top master premier teams for go battle league and look at pvpoke rankings.

I don’t have enough Pokémon built to play this, but now that they have had MPC in back to back seasons I will start working on building Pokémon for next season. I think Florges is going to be very strong in this meta. The top 9 is Florges, and either dragons, Gyarados (functionally a dragon), and a fighter

Goodra can hit florges and togekiss where dragonite gets shut down, making it a great safe swap with dragonite as the sweeper. Mamoswine & Metagross backline it is!

Is master league premier cup even an option if you cant max out pokemon yet? Would a lvl 45 pokemon be able to compete with the 50s or is the level gap too large and my mons too weak?

Additionally, does niantic do a master league with a lvl 40 cap?

@@christienitz4474 ML with Level 40 used to exist, formally called "Classic" cups, but Niantic has said those cups are retired so Level 50 is the new norm. Depending on your ELO, level 45 will probably play ok-- although once you reach around Ace+ level you'll for sure see 3x Level 50 meta pokemon on each team

@@christienitz4474 MLP can be really RPS heavy based on Steel/Dragon/Fairy typing so I'd lean into the RPS, play things that win and lose hard. Level 45 metagross will still ruin fairies. Your main issue will be any level 45 dragons vs level 50 dragons, and will likely lose Break/bulkpoints. Something like Metagross double fairy could play. Give things a shot, it may not be as bad as you think.. Just avoid dragon mirror matches if underleveled

@@christienitz4474 Alternatively if you have a cool spice pick that is level 45, that could surprise people too. Something new like S Feraligator or interesting or underused like Baxcaliber or Komo-O, S Hippo, could be weird enough that it causes some chaos

I have a 4* goodra but, and I’m ashamed to admit this, I missed the community day - any advice to farm his xl? And is it worth investing rare XL candy over other options in master league open/various master league cups?

Power it up to level 31 and buddy that sucker and get to walking, when you get to 4.5-4.9km poffin it to double the candy drop chance. Not worth rare XL because legendary/mythical take 20km per candy so those go 4x as far.

In December, you'll get comm day part 2 to farm xls as well, so be sure to mega level your dragon types!

Gyar - Flor - Prima is triple weak to Magnezone, I dont think it is usable. Primarina with Waterfall is not that bad but it still losses all even shields and even shield up, so best case scenario you lose your only weak counter and still need to take it out? It is unplayable.

I was just saying.. I PRAY I run into that Gyarados double fairy team while leading Magnezone lmao. I don’t get why a lot of RU-vidrs think people are only running the top 15 meta. That’s absurd. I know personally I always run anti-meta teams because I get sick of seeing the same six mons everywhere.
