Literally the best editing 3D video i could find to help me understand things. I honestly captured the house like i was doing the tour. seeing you captured it like your wanted to completely cover every sqft then minimize helped me understand a lot!
Im just getting ready to kick off my business with a friend around real estate. And this is SUPER helpful before i even start to try things out. Thank you!
Stupid newbie question: As you edited out scan points, was your reason for originally scanning the points you subsequently edited so that the Matterport software would have visual line-of-sight references in which it could then create an accurate floor plan rendering? Thanks in advance for your answer and for your helpful videos.
Pretty much. Depending on what camera you use you need more scans to create link the scans together. Also the more you do the crisper the dollhouse is. Lots of reasons. But for the actual tour you don’t want to show every scan for sure.
Hey, thank you for this video. One question: What I have to do, if I want to remove all furniture and so on from inside the model, so I have only empty walls and floors left?
You can’t with matterport. You could edit the 360 photos and re upload to the tour but that is a lot of work. Maybe using CubiCasa virtual walk through would be your only option.
@@MelvinDlaCruz I have a video coming that shows how to use photo saved on Ricoh. I assume it’s same on insta. Edit the photo saved on drive and upload it back to scans.
Hi, could you please tell me how I can fix this “glitchiness” on my walking through? because I have that every time when I move through the tour Thanks 😊
As you know there are a lot of factors in how many scans we create. Type of camera we use is the biggest. How crisp the doll house will be is another. Etc. Also when I train/teach I say over scan is better than not getting enough. You can always hide a scan.
Hey Casey, the four 360 outdoor photos you added, did you take those separately after doing all of the house scan photos? Or can you take them anytime and just select them not to be included in scan? Thx!
You actually switch the type of scan you are taking. So when you step outside or in garage etc. change it from 360 scan to 360 capture. That makes it a 360 photo that you attach later. And you can do it anytime in the process.
Ha ha I wish. This is my 1st theta. Few years old and it may have fallen over a few times. Keeps on ticking. I use it for my floorplan scans only now. Use my newer one for residential matterport. The tape keeps it together. Lol
There is no limit. At least that I have run into on scans. There is a limit in order to process it but it’s a high number and if that happens you scan 2 models and have them merged. The dollhouse is automatic.
