Just to make sure the new players understand. It is better for you to farm in campaign mode. It cost less in Energy and you get more XP. If you noticed, he was only getting just below 6k XP for his Characters. If you are not a big spender, and Energy is a precious resource...do your farming in the campaign, and not on bosses because it cost more Energy and you get less XP.
They should have a farm where you can raise chickens, and you feed the to become 2 to 5 star chickens. Have them take a long time to grow up as you would raise chickens to eat. That way, youre not just spending all your time running weaker champions through dungeons 60 thousand times.
thanks for sharing the shortcuts youve learned along the way that we would all eventually figure out but its really nice to have someone that tells the newer players the midgame and endgame tricks so that we know where to steer our accounts and avoid costly mistakes early on. much appreciated.
One thing I would add is dungeon farming to level a champ or two is great, but once you are going from 5 to 6 stars a great place to level is in Minotaur. That way you are leveling it and getting scrolls for it at the same time. It will not take it all the way from level 1 to 60, but gets you about to the low 40s after you have all the scrolls.
@@jtb8 seven days in just focus on getting that first champion to 6 stars. You will get scrolls in the Minotaur dungeon once you have a full team that can farm it on stage 15.
@@jasonm5945 LOL I don't have anything but uncommons I just got one epic characters that I'm trying to level up, But I cannot level it up because it's at top level and now I need more epic characters to sacrifice to get it to level up which I do not have. LOL
@@jtb8 you can rank up uncommons to level 4 and once you get 4 of them to rank 4 you can rank up your epic to level 5 using those 4 uncommons. You don’t want to be sacrificing epics at your stage of the game
I know all of this, but doesn't make me any less grateful that you're releasing stuff to help people who might not know any of this. I will say if I hadn't found your channel when I did I probably would have been wasting a lot more resources then I do now. Like not knowing how rare tomes were in the beginning. Or having guides on good rare champions so I know when I have a good one to immediately level it up and add it to my team. I never would have known how good frozen banshee was for clan boss. At first glance she didn't seem good at all.
This video was great. I’m not FTP but I don’t spend tons of money on the game. I buy the raid pass and a couple packs here and there so I have 4 level 60’s currently. I’ve been stuck in the mid game wondering what to really do to progress so this was good information.

I was like "I need to upgrade food, what did he said to farm already?" and all I had to do is scrolls tought your playlist. Super useful for finding watching older videos that are still relevant.
In the beginning, it's all about campaign farming, but later on the campaign is simply terrible to farm. My take on this has evolved later into the game, so consider the following from someone who has Arbiter and can 2-3 key UNM CB. The fact is XP is just free for you (with time) in the form of the sparring pit & brews, and the only times we "burst" with champs are the 2x events (at least for me, 10x not worth it). Some other pick nits: 1) "Don't use rares as food" - Disagree. Keep 1 of each "farm-able" affinity champs for fusions (who wants to farm campaign during a fusion?) and keep 1+ of each void rare, the rest are food. There's a short list of viable/useful rares out there, those you consider building. 2) "Don't use epics as food" - Again, disagree. Like rares most are not worth it, but you should keep 1 to fuse, 1 to level. Do you have 5 Deathless? May as well use 4 of those as food IMO. 3) "Run gear dungeons with 1+ food champs overnight" - Great advice, not feasible for most. More feasible is run the Affinity potions dungeons with 2-3 carries + 2-3 food champs. Always bring along food when farming potions. 4) Run Mino Lair with 1-3 carries + your newly 6 starred champion - Save your gems/energy, level your next 6 star while gaining scrolls. Most youtubers gloss over this b/c they often just buy masteries, but you are skipping out on the XP/Silver you can gain from running it. Remember that leveling is just one part of building your hero, the others are gearing, ascending, and masteries and should be the priority for your energy! Cheers.
I disagree with 2nd point - Plarium can update any champ from crap to god-tier and you will regret greatly you have used it as a food. The same applies for rares, but Legendaries/Epics have a greater impact though. Also, it is nice to have collection of different champs for example for Faction Crypts, especially for mid-gamers (I am considering myself as mid-game). Also, rares and epics are needed for fusion if there is any new, so it is worth keeping at least one rare/epic.
Not sure if you misunderstood, but he said that using them as XP (as "brews", so to speak) isn't as effective as using them as food. "Food" is for increasing star levels. Using epics as food is fine, so long as they are dupes. I'm sure Ash would agree.
About using food in Mino. You stand a chance of losing the scrolls to said food. So in my opinion that is one dungeon you don’t want to use food. Maybe a character you want to level up but not food.
@@Paddlebiker112 In Mino, you do Mino before you get your champion to 60. Lately, I've been running two maxed champions and 3 champions that I do want to get to 60 with masteries so I can get masteries and XP on them at the same time.

Hey Ash new Subscriber here just want to tell you I have been playing for about almost 3 weeks and your videos been helping me a lot except champion pool since I've only invested about $150 on ancient and sacred shards but still need so many buff and debuff champs that are worth keeping

i could farm brutal 12-3 with my galek in lifesteel gear lvl50 tho it only had like an 80-90% win rate (cause sometimes you get unlucky and on the 3. wave you can get double bombed, and weakened).
Get some good life steal gear on her and she'll be able to get through brutal to 12-3, I'm also a month in, day 33 working on my 3rd 6*. Got to brutal 12-3 with 5* elhain and a bunch of max 4* champs
Spend 3 days worth of multi-battles farming the highest level dragon you can, then switch to 3 days farming the highest brutal shield drop for silver (to upgrade gear) you can. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. You'll be able to gear a 2-Man team at 50 until you can fine tune things and achieve loftier goals. Ash didn't factor in his INSANELY maxed Great Hall here. Look at his power level ffs...

Awesome sharing, thank you. I am a noob to this game. Just one remark/idea from my site: i'd prefer to level 4 instead of just three. By choosing two higher (less common) champs and two lower (more common) champs. This way i level 4 at once, even if each in one match get a bit less EP, due to the need of doing it in a lower campaign. That way 1 quarter of the spent energy isn't lost. Of course also a little less silver is gained.
I had 2 blue shards, 2 void, and 1 sacred. Out of those 5 little shards, I pulled Reliquary Tender, Vogoth, AND #@!%*&$# DOOMPRIEST!!!!! My whole game just changed. And in 2 weeks I get my Scyl.... Plus I had Rector Drath already. Thx for the informative vids, down to earth discussions, and congrats on breaking the 100K subscriber threshold. My go to Guru, Ash kicker.
Run the keeps with 1 solo champ and 4 food champs. Mostly for end game players. If u pull a lego or a champ that you will definitely be 6 starring, put good gear on that champion that you intend to max to 60 and run them as campaign farmer to level themselves up
I'm only level 30 and want to rank up and ascend Elhain, Jordin, Shaman, Sniper, Ultimate Galek, and Shatterbones, I'll work on Athel next but I dont know where to get chicken. Also why's it such a grind to summon, level up weak champs, then sacrifice them and have to level them up and summon more to level up and then sacrifice them to the ones you ranked/leveled up all so you can rank up the champs you want to use. I'm going nuts trying to rank up/level up Elhain and the others I mentioned cuz its sooo much grind work. Not to mention I'm not trying to spend money

Great video, I was wondering if you could make a video about the way to complete the masteries on champions in mid-game level, such as the amount of energy needed or when or where to minotaure etc ...
I've been playing for a year now F2P and it never occurred to me that I should run Drag 20 with 2-3 people lol....im at a wall (hit lvl 20 Dungeons couple weeks ago cant do 21+) due to gear i think but thx dude for another informative Vid!!
Hey ash. Thanks for these daily vids man. You forgot to suggest the "edit queue" option in the multi-battles, so that while we sleep😴😂, the AI automatically swaps the maxed out food champs with new food.
Very clever to farm dungeons with a couple of food. I have thought about it before and even did it a little bit on earlier stages, but it feels wrong not to do max level dungeons. >
Love your videos man! Just started playing this week and your vids are SO helpful, I appreciate how you keep it relevant to the avg joe who cant whale or spend all day playing! How do you run auto battles while you sleep? I can get it to auto battle but once the stage/dungeon is finished i have to manually restart again and I cant find that anywhere in settings?
When you click on multi battle, there is an option to 'continue multi battles even after all champions reach mad level', this box has to be checked for the multi battles to continue if you are using all champions that are at max level. I hope this helps!
one thing you didn't mention is when farming on campaign I find you get more shard and champion drops. If I farm up Valdemar Straight on brutal to move 1* and 2** up to 4 x 3*** level 1 I amost always get a free Templar. Since the Templar is halfway to 4**** level1 already, i've made a saving on the total amount I need to farm. So 4 days worth of Brutal farming gets me silver and lifesteal gear but also at least 80 shards for the next 4 days as well as 4 templars.
Um, what do you mean auto-battling? You mean auto-play in each stage or dungeon, or do you mean some kind of auto-play feature somewhere? Like, you mention running stuff while you sleep. How do you do that?

You always talk about speed and lifesteal gear. What champions should I put them on? When is it okay to take them out and just let attack players attack and not get lifesteal? Lifesteal is only for attack champs? I would love to see a situational video about gear please.

well this was interesting ... im a new player so this made me understand a bit more, but i still have some questions, for example how does one queue up fights while afk ?? do i need to reach a certain lvl 1st ? Also im a recent lvl 20, and im currently on felwins gate boss stage still can't beat that one and i have a jotun lvl40, a sepulcher sentinel lvl 39, Athel lvl 26( rank4, 2 purple stars) and valerie lvl 30, also have master Butcher lvl 30 and elder lvl 11
