Bro, I'm running this 1*LMG build and getting way better dps than 2* SOCR build. Though I prefer stability accessories to have better recoil control. Do you still run this build? If yes, would you make any changes to the build guide?
I prefer a more hybrid version just to make sure my DMG doesnt tank when weakspots can't be hit. For that I'm running 3x Bastille, 2x Lone Wolf and Crit Amp on Hands. Also, stabilized style with crit rate. I have 40% crit rate and 75% crit dmg unbuffed. Then, weakspot DMG on substats. I like the sustained damage benefit of that, plus its still 50k-60k dps on dummy unbuffed and using only regular tungsten ammo. I can clear all content solo like that as well. Sometimes you're just not aligned properly to hit weakspots all the time, ans some weakspot placements are a complete joke as well. Y'all should not forget that weakspot hits can crit, too.
I prefer the stability calibration as well. I find that most of the time I can't get very close to my targets and having that stability ends up being way more DPS in actual content.
Im glad to see this. Thought my doombringer was broken and going to get nerfed, which one day it will be nerfed, but at least there are some EVEN more busted builds in the game that im sure will be nerfed first. Good video, subbed

I've been using this for some time now and it does great mow down vs single target. I've augmented this with the frost icy rain healing build; never runs out of ammo and heals me constantly but I still need the shelter set before I can dish out as much dmg as the Predator. You can mow down groups of mobs though even if it does chew through ammo.
I think its a good enough weapon but since many things do not have a weak spot OR they are really hard to constantly hit its better not to focus on weak spot damage. It is very misleading to hit a dummy at zero range in the head and then say "Look at the damage man" when playing the game you are going to be far away and miss the weak spot (if it has one). So while its still a good weapon I do wish people would stop standing 1mm away from a test dummy and hitting the head while using an axe etc to inflate numbers that you will not get while actually playing the game. But to be clear I am not knocking the gun it is good and something else to play with rather than shrapnel but I would not make everything weak spot crit and crit damage will at least work on everything.
@@davids-yc5zw I have trouble killing the basic world mobs it barely does 2k damage a shot one guy takes 30 bullets to finish off idk what I'm doing wrong I followed the guides and everything with gold mods and still I just feel so useless in any fight
@@jessicameow614full renegade set means u have to stay put on headshots 24/7, you also need to mix a large amount of weapon dmg since weapon dmg will multiply your headshot. He says spam out weakspot every mod but I'd say you need to keep center on more weapon dmg for a renegade set. Other than that the guy in the video has I counted bare minimum 40% normal enemy dmg. Which works on dummies, so his dmg is massively inflated in the video and you won't be doing that to bosses unless you have great ones/elite enemy boosts out the wazoo. You could also try crit builds since they can do more consistent dmg when you aren't hitting weakspots. The renegade stuff is probably alot better for Boss killing than it is for ad clear
@@jessicameow614 build it with 4 lone wolf, oasis, 1 bastille and go for the actuall mods for fast gunner... like shoot out and crit amp... and build arround crit... u will melt and wothout the need to jist go for weakspots.... yes weakspot would do more damage but with the build i told u, u will be conistent and not that uselles in case no weakspots is in sight...😊
@@killercomplexgaming4888 I have fast gunner and crit amp and bullet siphon and shootout already i have all the mods and gear bastile and lone wolf plus oasis mask. but natter how much i upgrade my mods to have 12 percent weapon damage on each. still just doing basically no dps just the bare min for level 50 this game is just not fun for me anymore it just feels like work that i dont understand even fully calibrated and with tungsten rounds my max dps for 96 rounds is 335k its a joke. everyone else has like a million dmg.
Honestly I prefer to use a legendary top mod because sometimes you can get better substats than a blue mode plus it's substats and they offer better survivability.
Yeah at the time of this video you could use the one that heals you above 0 60% hp on a kill, and it would heal you no matter how much hp you had. But they fixed it to only above 60% (really dumb lol)
For food buff, you mention assorted canned fruit. You can’t grow coconut though, so it’s kind of a pain. Should I run crumbly bread and then just balance wkspt% and wp% on mods? You can grow all of crumbly bread ingredients
I was wonder why my damage wasnt way higher than yours, until i see how much Damage to Normal enemies you stacked LMAO. Decent build, but mine do be better not onckuding substats
No other build has convinced me to change from my vortex. With two of the chests, can be CC vortex or a bit higher dps vortex and this for me is fun. With a macro, i can swap chest armors in the fly in a sec or less. Vortex pull is too fun and stuns and prevents most everything from attacking, maybe besides silo bosses and such but works on other bosses. All other builds are and seems boring and has no utility other than doing more dps which isnt too important other than killing bosses faster and leaving the boss fight with more gun health and a big peepee. Im waiting for the flamethrower to be released, one day....
I'm just building this full based on weapon damage just fof pvp and see if it works , i mean i just shooting ? And not missing , at least on cqc but i rather go for the 40 stability calibration and all the mods that boost damage quickly for the gun , just stacking flat damage , not going for crit or weakspot (unless i get clear hits) i also have high weakspot
i saw a guy using this build on pw nightmare and he got 8 millions damage easy, beating me with last valor 3 stars with gold food damage buff with only 3.5 mil damage.
Mawn my friend you still have this build up and ready. I have seen many videos, but with the updates since then I am curious if it still is the same or did it get a major nerf dmg wise?
I unfortunately don t have the build actively on me anymore due to server reset but it hasn t been nerfed, and it has actually gotten better if you play on the server that buffs fast gunner
the shrapnel propaganda was quite the brainrot early, a lot of things are actually better than the SCAR lmao.. Surge, vortex, bullseye, fast gunner, even bomber depending on the circumstances
@@wearetheborg on pvp only cuz you need to build stacks of damage for and for the time you build it the enmy shooted you twice with bulleye or bomber snd you will be eating floor
You would have lower damage, and you’d have to kill stuff with your secondary to heal yourself. So I think it’s less optimal since we’re making our MG4 the main damage source. But sure, you can always do so

In my opinion, if you want the banner item, roll. It is more expensive but you get the extra. If you need something that is off banner, you need to do specific buy though.
Why do you say 4 piece renegade hood (which 4 piece means you need to reload)...but you also say you want to stay in the upper 50% of the mag as much as possible and have a mod to help you never reload (you mention ruthless reaper being an option for example.). Am I crazy? If you don't wanna reload, why would you go for the 4pc renegade? Am I missing something?

@@releasekraken7759 bastille requires you to stay immobile and crouched, which is a huge downside for quality of life and a shitty requirement that I find too annoying to fulfill. Also imagine you’re clearing Lea solo. You won’t have many chances to stay immobile and crouched there unfortunately
If by theoretical math the best damage will always be a 50-50 split between weapon dmg and weakspot dmg, since they multiply each other. But weapon dmg always rolls lower than weakspot so its harder to get it.

Do keep in mind it might take some time due to other video ideas taking priority and the fact that I need to find a cali bp with x2 weakspot (I won’t be importing the gun I used from eternaland)
So i can tell ya that you defnitly want to focus weapon dmg bonus then weakspot, as someone sitting at 170% weakspot hitting no where near these numbers lol
Mid. I’m not sure if I mentionned it but in any case it’s not a big worry since there’s like only 2 bosses/elites that don’ have weakspots (Claw/gacha machine and the Fridge). Then of course, you can always switch to crit build for more damage on those 2 enemies
This was my build from the beginning of the game but never actually reached the 120k dps...😢 My over all dmg goes ober 1.2m with buffs but never 100k+ with my dps, do you think it has something to do with my ping? As its always 200+ and keeps fluctuating

Not all armor I use in my guide are mine. They can be dropped gear found in the wild. I may not buy the gear I use in my guide videos because they don’t make a difference between own crafted gear or found gear
You can purify lvl 3 cortex which gives you 100 starchrom each, and you can do that for 40 times weekly, which totals to 4k starchrom. There's a weekly cap, so make sure to use lvl 3 cortex Then complete your seasonal goals which gives you more or less 4k to 5k per phase (almost weekly)
@@mawn7976 I've got Shoot Out with 6% weapon DMG Helmet has Momentum Up with 7% weak spot DMG Oasis Mask with fast gunner increased state damage 3% Bastile gloves with Crit Amplifier with Crit DMG 6% Top rejuvenate with Crit 15% Pants bastile With Bullet Siphon with Crit 3% Running bastile and lone wolf with oasis mask my fast gunner fire rate and damage are increased I even have the wolf whisper and tactical buff even while crouched and immobile

Shattered bread only improves base weapon DMG 10% whereas Canned Fruit 25% weakspot, this definitely could be an option though depending how you build it but Canned Fruit will give you better DPS overall. I much prefer to use Mixed Fried Hot Dog for 20% damage against enemies with Bullseye, this way I will remember to keep re-applying bullseye and regardless of sanity level still get improved DMG and swap it out for Ice Tea/Stardust Ale or something that will drastically improve my movement/action speed :)
Nah im convinced that renegade is just bugged… lol no way you get that much more dps going renegade over lonewolf . When i swap out crit damage mods for weak spot damage mods i get less dps , 40 percent weakspot damage from the 3 piece renegade set should not be that much dps lol.. considering you can get 30 percent from 1 mod. I think renegade is bugged imo on paper should not be doing that much more. Maybe Try testing my theory by taking off the renegade set for something else but keep all the same mods and see how much less damage you do and then put the renegade back on and take off one of your 30 percent weakspot mods and see how much damage you still do lol im running 3 piece lonewolf and 2 piece falcon btw. 40 percent crit chance and almost 200 percent crit damage and im getting like 40k dps unbuffed and 60k buffed i have decent violent rolls on most of my mods except for my headpiece
here's the thing, weakspot dmg 100% and crit dmg 100% do the same amount of damage (assuming the crit isn't also weakspot) so if you have 40% crit chance and 200% crit damage you only get that crit damage 40% of the time, whereas you get the 200% weakspot every shot that hits the weakspot.

There are two purple MG4, wrath of hades is more support, just looking at the stats I wouldn’t recommend it. However I can see Mr squid work in aoe content, but might aswell get a frost weapon at this point since frost pretty much does what bounce does but better, although I haven’t really tested squid yet.
@@rumtata The only problem with weakspot would pretty much be if you can’t control the recoil. Oh and the no reload scar build boasts too low of a dps to my taste which is why I stopped using my scar
@@Soloslamed you lose damage and you swap to crit build. Although off the top of my head you won’t encounter this problem often….I can only think of the gacha machine and the fridge as the only two enemies who don’t have weakspots
The MG4 Predator isn't realistic when fighting bosses with smaller hitboxes or far-away targets. Using a large hitbox boss or hugging a target isn't realistic in half, if not more, of the combat scenarios. The other issue is the wear and tear of the weapon and the ammo to try and maintain the high numbers. The LMG build sounds fantastic on paper and looks wonderful on a DPS target dummy, but in all actuality, it's an ammo hog, and it's unrealistic to maintain constant weak spot hit damage numbers on more than half of the time. The other issues are obvious recoil and bullet spread.
I’ve thought for this for about a minute now and I still can’t think of a boss where you’re forced to shoot from far away that has a small hitbox. Besides, not sure if I said it in the video, if you ads, your accuracy will be at 100%. Then, if you can’t control the recoil then it’s not really the gun’s fault is it? But sure, the gun’s performance can depend on its user
@mawn7976, I had a feeling you would state something close to "git gud," and you did, but you said it respectfully, and I appreciate it. Overall, the bullet spread is horrific. Even if a person can maintain the recoil, spread also comes into play. Using the tree boss and target dummies aren't fair assessments. It was fun watching the video even after testing, having other people test, and discovering our conclusions that this build does not carry over well to/in most scenarios.
