I was a Sitka skeptic and honestly, made fun of people wearing it. I thought you just paid for the brand. I started asking outfitters and people who wear all the time. I learned it’s an American company with only 82 employees and have an impeccable reputation regarding order shipments. I also learned about the technology in their odor prevention and how light weight their products are compared to the cold they are rated for. With their Black Friday sale this week I bought a jacket, hoodie, and hat and I’m a “believer.” I’ve yet to meet someone who actually wears the gear and doesn’t like it.

I would like to see a Sitka video that pertains to the mid to late seasons in Iowa and Wisconsin as the temperatures are a lot different here than Kentucky
I am primarily late season whitetail hunter, and my go to is the fanatic system, never tried the stratus. Which would you recommend pants or bibs and why for stratus?
Great question, thanks for asking. I think the lowest temps that I've sat most/if not all day have been low 20's to start the day and of course it heats up to mid, upper 30's or low 40's. But for all day sits I think the upper 20's to lower 30's are good. When it get's teens and such, after 2-3 hrs I do get chilly. For example, I was hunting early January this year and it was upper 20's/low 30's with a stout north wind towards the end of the day and this kit proved to be a good choice. Even though I had the Incinerator Bibs/Jacket in the barn, because I was saddle hunting and didn't want to overheat climbing up and walking to the stand, I went with this setup and didn't regret it. Now my feet being bricks when walking back to the barn is another story!

Did you buy all of pieces in the same size? I have the stratus and fanatic hoodie in large and feel like it would be tough to fit the midi in between those two but havent tried.
