BEST Mini Ratchet? - Icon VS Wiha VS Klein VS 711L VS Craftsman VS Amazon 

I'm enjoying the Icon bit and ratchet set. But I've also recently discovered a company called Tone out of Japan. They've got the absolute smallest 1/4 and 3/8 stubby, compact head ratchets that are the highest quality for anything like that I've seen. The tollerances in the mechanism are very close. Top notch manufacturing. Their 3/8 and 1/4 compact head is the size of that little 711 you've got. On a separate note, Wiha are the best made 1/4 bits I've seen. Im slowly collecting replacements from them for all the ones in the Icon kit, and alot more that aren't in a separate Milwaukee medium bit organizer box with re-arrangable, replacable rails. I'm getting more into tinkering with the smaller things, the older i get. BTW, Icon is coming out with an updated version of theirs that includes aome 1/4 sockets.

I got the icon one for work and over half the maintenance people have gone to buy their own now. We are issued one by work that is like 260 bucks and we all hate. For 43 dollars after tax? The harbor freight is untouchable.

Just so you know the harbor freight one, the round piece on the back should pop off and it becomes and 1/4 ratchet aswell

the back of the klein is a 5/16 so its really good for the HVAC field

24:05 Do me a favor, take the Harbor Freight ratchet and look at it one more time. LOL, clearly you are not aware of its little party trick that made the ratchet my second most reached for tool I have. So.... You have it in your hand, now.... I want you to look at the little round plastic knob with the knurling. I want you to grab it and pull it away from the body of the '¼ bit/drive ratchet'. In one hand, you should have the most versatile dual head ¼ bit/drive ratchet and in the other hand, you have one of the most finger friendly additions to your ¼ bit/drive tool bag. That little knob can be used on anything that is ¼ inch. You can slide it on any ¼ bit to make it a micro bit or slide it on an extension then attach that extension to a drive and now you have (in my opinion) the most useful ¼ bit/drive ratchet accessory that you own! So.... I'm thinking after you look at it again, you will not see at it as a "cheap date" but, one that made you want to put a ¼ anything knob on it. 🤦🏼‍♂️ BTW, Awesome video Thanks for the information! Question, are some of these a good replacement for screwdrivers as well? Specifically the icon. Or would you still want a screwdriver as well?

I bought that icon set a while back. The first time I used it, the little retainer ring failed and now the bits and the extension just slides through. Is it true I can go to harbor freight and swap the kit for a new one?

Try the 7/11L for the leatherman. It has locking wiggle.

You're missing the Titian mini ratchets as well as the new Klein one.
