Spring is right around the corner and I'm excited for some long weekend trips. Check out this list of four minimalist backpacks I want to try out this spring. I plan on using these for one bag travel but if you do like to bring more than one bag, these should all work as a personal item that you can store right under the seat in front of you on the plane. Hopefully this video will provide you with some minimalist packing inspiration and tips on how to travel lighter.

Another super cool video. I love your vibe. I still travel with a roller bag, since I like to pick a little heavier. But if I ever do try to lighten the load I like the look of that Belton bag a lot!

I own the Aer Daypack 2 and I love this bag. This is my EDC bag. I got to say though. It's not big enough for weekend travel. I can fit most of my tech and a couple of other things but it won't be able to fit a medium size packing cube. I guess if you can do one change of clothes then it will do. I'm actually looking for a weekend bag that's around 20L.

So I usually travel for a week plus with a 20L bag and carry about five shirts so I think a 13L bag is perfect for about three shirts for a long weekend. I haven’t really used packing cubes but I’m not opposed to them. I also only carry minimal tech gear because I find that on long weekends I really don’t need much.
