The aFe intakes look great, however you really need to remove the left over stock intake inlets that are under the bumper. They seriously limit flow. You can see what I mean if you download the VT snorkel install instructions.
@David Laurence-Gallant yeah..I've heard plenty ppl say if they were to do intakes all over again they'd pair VT with AFE intakes they work hand in hand

I noticed a minor difference right away, but nothing major. When I really started to feel getting thrown back was when I had it paired with the exhaust
@@Robert-dm1sj Yea you can hear them pretty good. It’s louder than stock but not as loud as K&N because they are sealed. I’m sure with the snorkels it will be even louder!
It only gained 22hp because it was paired with an aftermarket exhaust. I'll stick with the K&N CAI because it looks way better and would gain the same amount of horsepower if an exhaust system were added anyways.
Hey, great vid. Nice car. Contemplating these because I'm not a fan of the other open filter hot engine air intakes that people love lol. Is this how they sound with the stock snorkels or do u have velossa techs snorkels installed as well? Thanks for your reply in advance.
Hey Joseph I appreciate the feedback! And these are on stock snorkels. Planning on getting the velossatech in the future. I’m sure they will produce louder induction/blow off noise
Having fitment issues with the passenger side air box. Did yours look like this where the end of the airbox has a cut out? I'm in the process of installing mine in my 2023 GT2, and the factory 10mm bolts at the ram location are too short. Fortunately I have some spare bolts, but I'll still have to go out and get washers. Other than that, it's been fairly smooth.
@PFSolitude Sorry I forgot to mention. I am installing it on my 2023 G70 3.3t. It should just be the same like the Stinger, unless they (AFE) just picked out the wrong passenger airbox during parts picking or something, maybe. Bolt holes didn't match up at all.
On the K8 store i may buy the 2 stage set up for my stinger or possible may go for the 3 stage.. For me the MBRP is the best exhaust note out there especially for a daily stinger car.. Btw in the link ypu shared i looked carfully on the notes and it did gained 22hp with aftermarket exhaust tho
So I've been on the fence about which intakes I should get for my 22 stinger. My question is can you send me the website and how do you take out the air filters?
I haven’t looked much into stillen, all I know is that these are the only ones in a closed box. Paired with ram air intakes I think this system is hard to beat!
Do you feel doing the CAI alone without other mods is beneficial? I just picked up a 2023 GT2 Grand touring model and the dealership said a CAI doesn't void the warranty but exhaust or messing with the computers would void. Just wondering if I only did the intake would it make any difference in performance? Thanks
Yea I did feel more of a difference from stock when the turbos kicked in. I would say only about a 5% increase but paired with an exhaust I noticed about a 15% increase and pulls a lot harder.
@@AnthonyCessor it’s been in production for months. If you check MBRPs social media page they posted a teaser for it, but stinger forums are saying it might still be another few weeks.
Technically K&N and Injen are not “cold” air intakes because the heat shields do not fully seal the cones, and Injen not having shields at all. The colder the air the better and with sealed boxes you are not getting any hot air from the engine, as these are directly hooked up to the ram air intakes.
@@-kjlifestyle- yeah, that's where i am with it too. I just haven't seen much information on why go dry... unless you live in a dusty climate, then i could see how it may clog more(or faster).
