@@montagnetv9776 I'm making videos and mods in the name of gaming. There was a time where I would load up my Xbox 360, and flip through my disc booklet. I didn't know at the time, but I got to pick from some of the greatest games of all time (Borderlands, COD, Tom Clancy Rainbow Six Vegas, Halo, Gears of War, Portal, Skate, Smackdown vs RAW, and many more). I realized that communities made those games great, buddies would park their bikes outside my house and it was a LAN party every night. There has been a lack of games in recent years that have communities with the same passion those early games did, and Ready or Not is my hope back in that direction. Just trying to create a communtiy of real gamers.
@@jaimeolivares4970 There's a mod showcased in my recent video called the EXPS3 Unity FAST FTC Magnifier Mount, it has a flip up magnified sight. There is another mod called something like allow scope zoom which allows you to toggle the zoom level in an LPVO scope
So, I've been trying to use the attachment expansion mod and it just hasn't been working. I have gunfighter installed rn if that makes a difference. Any suggestions?
@@R3DACT3DD So attachment expansion is different from most mods, it's a dependency mod. What that means is that it provides assets (the attachments) for other modded guns to use. Attachment expansion doesn't add attachments to weapons unless another mod uses it as a dependency. Dependencies are basically mods required to be installed by other mods. Most of the weapon mods I showcase use attachment expansion to add more attachment options. Mods will list their dependencies in the description, if there are any, and will also list important information about the mod.
Can anyone help me with the mod maps location in-game? After downloading them in-game, I'm unable to find them on the headquarters menu, only the stock maps are available. This wasn't a problem before the home invasion update.
@@swapnildeb6657 They should appear in at the mission select desk with maps separated into main, dlc, and modded. Go into singleplayer practice mode, then see if the map shows at the mission select screen. If it doesn't, the mod is out of date and not updated past july 23 or the mod is broken/bugged.
@@genghis_bob6214 Yes. You need to edit the text of the engine.ini file. In the descripition of the mod, there is instructions on where to find this file and you copy and paste the corresponding code at the end of the file's text. You must have the laser attachment equipped in game, then set the in game barrel attachment keybind to what you want your laser to be, then set the flashlight illuminator keybind in the code that you pasted in the file different than ykur laser keybind. If this sounds confusing, join my discord server in the description and go to the questions page. I or someone else can guide you through it.
Lol Don’t I have a terrorist hunt mod for you! The author deleted it from Nexas Mod, but I still have it. If you want it, hit me up. We can play together if you want.
Hey man I just got the game yesterday, every mod I have tried to download haven’t worked. If you have any idea what the issue is I’d really appreciate any help!

@@2woDreaded Most mods for this game require manual installation. There is a link to a 5 step installation tutorial at the end of this video's description.
@@thestarchild2899 There are mods that increase the number of slots in your loadout, and you can carry a stupid number of magazines. The Gunfighter Gameplay mod increases the number of slots to 25, but there are mods that can further increase it further.
@@LoiteringDroneDroppedClown thanks, and In Game Menu and Blueprint Loader mod doesn't have the actual in game menu as of rn. Blueprint loader part of the mod works, just not the menu.
@@sanderv.3545 The compress mechanic is automatic, and the distance it can't compress any more varies depending on your barrel length. If you are too close, it will go to your ready position. This is done because compressing simulates placing the stock of your weapon above your shoulder, which allows you to minimize your barrel signature when entering a threshhold. You can only retract your weapon so far back in real life while keeping your muzzle on target, and the in game mechanic replicates that.
I switched over to my main browser to say this THANK YOU ! this community needs videos like this I want the modding community for this game to become as large as the skyrim modding community extremely unlikely but having videos like this that can spotlight both well known and less known mods breathes life into the modding scene for the game. Keep that shit up ! Maybe a weekly/monthly mod round up where you dive into new mods that come out every week or every month.
@@JohnStevens-gt8td I'm working on a "Becoming Formidable in Close Quarters - Tackling the Dangers of Ready or Not's CQB" video rn. I have 2 more mod videos cooked up after that, it's just takimg long to edit; should be out soon.
SR-16, MK18, and GA416 are my go to vanilla guns. If you like the way the SR-16 feels, I recommend trying out the 14.5 URGI M4 mod. It's very similar but you get more attachment options, it's showcased in my recent video.
Hey, is ready or not worth it? I found it for $30 but I've been contemplating it for a while. To me, the graphics look good, but overall looks unpolished and generic.
@@SWAFanPilot Definitely worth it imo. Any game with buddies will always be fun. I speak on behalf of the singleplayer in this game, commander mode is quite fun. With the option to install mods too, this game quickly strays away from a "generic" feel.
In the pause menu, there should be an option to "show player names". Just toggle that on, then names of your SWAT AI or multiplayer teammates will show.
@@stiks00I use the exclusive supporter edition Sly Aeroframe Helmet, which has a variant with the helmet cover that includes the strobe. There are no mods that add that to helmets.
@@silvadagga was hoping it could be added. Thank you very much for your reply. I saw some mods that added the strobes, but they are deprecated. Hopefully, they'll update them; otherwise, I'll make one myself. Thanks again for your help
@@Huhmasta the only time mods broke from an update was the home invasion update, because the game changed engines from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5. All mods updated or published past July 23 should work through future updates as they are all made on the new game engine.
@@silvadagga Not rlly, the mods break everytime there's a big update (Adam update, 1.0 release and now the home invasion update lol). Hopefully this is the last time it happens doubt it)
@@mooairsoft5480 I agree that the Adam update completely overhauled most game mechanics from Alpha build, and the Home Invasion update changed game engines. Ready or Not is constantly changing for the better (hopefully there is no more huge game changing updates). Mods were functioning between updates besides those 2 game changing ones. To get back to the original post, the point of installing mods is for those who want to modify the game beyond the capabilities of vanilla, usually to enhance the player's experience. If people are deterred from installing mods because they can potentially need an update months or years in the future, they should just play the vanilla game.
@silvadagga It's not just people being deterred from installing mods that these huge updates cause, there's many now outdated mods I used to really enjoy (mostly customs maps) that don't receive regualr updates. It's just sad how I can't go back and play with alot of mods I used to back in the alpha version of the game.
@@mooairsoft5480 I completely agree with you there, I wish many mods were updated to be compatible with the current game. The base game isn't set in stone like Arma 3 is, so the modding community (mod creators and mod users) need to adapt. Good thing for users is that it only takes a few clicks to install/uninstall a mod. Creators have a harder job to keep up with new changes to the game (new content or game changing updates).

Good day! Please advise! In the latest version of RON, the game runs fine for me and then suddenly freezes! And I need to close it completely! What is the reason?
@@strong2301 How long does the game run for until it crashes? Also is there somethimg specific that you do in game before it crashes (loading new screen, something performance demanding)? @@galdar9618 Lmao, I can't tell if you are serious or not. I didn't know your vision blurred/your head tremors because bullets whizz by you or that a trained officer can't keep their hands from shaking when they move and shoot (being sarcastic). People remove ROE penalties and lower the amount of civilians/increase suspect counts (aka T Hunt) because they want to simulate playing as a military unit with more lenient ROE compared to police. Mods are meant to create a different experience from Ready or Not vanilla so players stay immersed and can play how they want. Maybe these optional mods offended you? Or maybe all the people who use those mods should play Call of Duty instead, because it's not how you want them to play?
I hope the devs take a lot of these quality of life mods and implement them, sure give the modders credit, but say the switch illuminator, better vests/ more colours for armor and clothing, and cosmetic fix are all things that really should be in the game right now, but given that VOID is a relatively small studio, they may not have gotten the chance to address these issues while working on payed DLC's and bigger issues that make the game break. I think it'd be great community building to use these mods in vanilla and give the modders credit
@@TH4L3G1TK1NG Agreed, I think the studio size of VOID Interactive is a double edge sword. Devs listen closer to their playerbase since we are a tighter nit community, but implementing changes can take longer. The small quality of life changes would be nice, I've been asking for some of them for a while, but I don't know what devs or their specific teams have on their plate right now.
@@wildboy7950 yes and thanks dude. I originally made the mod for myself since there wasn't many AI mods with my EXACT preferences. Decided to make it public and I'm glad others like playing the game how I do (at least with my AI changes).
