bro if you love this game, you should take a look to something called Ground Branch. It has similarities butt is fps and with maps not open world, butt the ai is pretty similar.
Yea but this shit don’t mean anything to console players we can’t get any of these mods. The correct term is the game peaked on PC the game is still garbage 💀
@@KillMonger592 Arma Reforger, and there's mods on console too, so you can get into all of the modern conflict servers too. It's no Arma 3, but for consoles it seems to be the best milsim experience there is currently imo, I come across a lot of console players in that game
Unfortunately it’s Ubisoft look at the dumpster fire that’s Star Wars: Outlaws look at the controversy surrounding Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Remember when Ubisoft called Skull and Bones the first quadruple A game? I don’t wanna be a downer but Ubisoft’s quality has dropped for awhile so don’t get your hopes up I’d keep my expectations low when it comes to them
You'd have more success just asking the community to mod a better Ubi game. Ubisoft will continue making their sub par games that the community will have to fix.
as soon as one of their "off" projects gets popular they flood it with focus and start adding a bunch of crappy mainline devs to the team bloating it out of control and ruining it. They did this with Siege. Siege was a B team project, and a game UBISOFT expected to release and throw away. And it became their only success that year and kept growing. The B team suddenly got bolstered with a lot more people and feel/direction/tone of the game shifted. You could legit feel the moment things shifted. It was right around Year 2 Season 1-3. I really miss Siege, but Ubisofts gotta ruin everything.
Just for reference, that "battery pack" on the helmets is actually an old-school IR strobe. I've got one buried in my kit locker somewhere. They've largely been replaced by newer/smaller models, but that's the one we used back in the early GWOT.
I only got into Breakpoint 3 weeks ago and I've already put over 100 hours into it thanks in part to your vids. It scratched an itch that I was struggling to reach in the tac-shooter space. And I haven't even started Ep2, 3, or Motherland yet.
2:36 "I really think we're looking at the beginning of a modding revolution don't you think?.. Oxide" is what made me subscribe and I figured I'd share as a musician the fade between your voice and the game was not only spot on but so effort drive and I just want you to know that extra few minutes of editing was so worth it. Point is, don't grow lazy you clearly got a talent and passion for this format and it's paying off. Keep it up homie!
my first vid of yours I've caught, this takes me back to old Ubisoft style early gameplay demos they would show at E3. Really well done man, this is art
Spartan mod is hands down the best and most game changing mod in this game. Playing it without feels like I'm playing an arcade game. You don't do things like plan raids at night because of roleplaying you do it because it's essential. Idk how so few people use or talk about it. It fixes the ABSURD vanilla bullet drop, unrealistic quiet of suppressed weapons, and moves the snipers detection range from a ridiculously low 75m during the day to 300m so they actually feel like snipers. I mean IRL with an ACOG on a 5.56 weapon you can reliably hit a target at 500-600m. It makes the game so much more challenging and like you need a good plan otherwise you're just gonna get destroyed. Second would be first person mod (especially since it's so easily toggleable in game) then third would be reticles mod that fixed the absolute horrendous 240p default reticles and some scopes where aspects of them are completely useless.
This is more impressive than most gaming videos I see on RU-vid nowadays rarely does stuff like this get uploaded with actual good content videos that are far more well edited and with a unique audio setting and mods in the game to boot to make the game far more interesting than its original model version release I love watching your videos or having it in the background whilst I’m doing stuff during my day to day
The problem with Breakpoint is Wildlands had MUCH better outposts, you could use tactics to take out signal jammers and call in mortars and rebels etc and the world felt alive
@@deefactual The problem with that mod however is you have to use the cheat engine to get it to work and you have to be careful with the one you find cause of virus
Both Wildlands and Breakpoint are my comfort food games and I'll easily sink 20-30 hours in whenever I'm in between games or feel like I don't have anything else to play. I hope for the next game they just combined the best of both Wildlands and Breakpoint and make another solid open world shooter.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint is such a gem. I know it could have a buttload more content or even better configuration of the gameplay and sandbox. But its sooo good. I really hope Ubisoft sees the community and builds upon it. Giving more freedom to mods and even more tactical depth. With Breakpoint they have a prototype of the best milsim out there. They just need to see it.
@yesdude3914 the AI kills it for me. Game was OK if not clunky but the AI being so braindead it makes this whole video pointless. Could've just hid behind a crate go loud and clear out the base with heads hots they walk right into.
Dang, I never realized how much I rely the blast circle warning for throwables and mortars. Hat's off to the guy who modded it away! Edit: I like fish and chips
I gotta say: I absolutely LOVE your videos, they make me want to play breakpoint over and over again, also, I have finally gotten into modding the game because of you. You're the best.
I didn't even know breakpoint had a modding scene now that i've found this out i might as well replay the game with mods. thank you for actually making this video.
Moding scene has not peaked, your editing has. This game is amazing, fundamentaly speaking. All mods do is increase even more the dificulty and have other parameters adjusted to add some more realism. (and the game already has tons of tuning tools already, so the majority of people dont even need mods)
Considering that Breakpoint has a social hub in game that lets you interact with more then just 3 players, do you believe there will be a possibility in the future someone will mod Breakpoint into being playable with more then 4 players per party ? Would be awseome to make some large scale 30 players parties...like a proper theater of operations
That would be wild. Maybe? I don't know how difficult that might be, but if somebody can get the current state of matchmaking a bit more stable and consistent first, that'd be my wish 😅
I checked through the ingame settings for way longer than I’d like to admit, looking for that damn headshot sound setting. I should’ve known that was a mod all along in your videos.. thanks for sharing!
I never had a problem with this title since day one. Sure, it's improved, but unplayable? Still a mystery to me, and this game is in heavy rotation still today.
I think people overreacted, and that was enough to tip the scales on the optics of the game from early days, but it's 100% in the best shape it's ever been, imo.
PS4 originally, moved to PC after a thousand or so hours and started over. Never looked back! Bigger community on consoles though, wish we had cross platform 😞
People overreacted def. I mean Ubisoft did some fuckups but I think their games often times are still top notch. Often times I get the feeling people just hating for the reason to hate. They didnt play the previous title or have any relation to the ghost recon series / tom clancy series but still push out immense hate.
my friends and I had just finished wildlands and went directly to Breakpoint. At the time gear score was enabled by default, so the experience was very different. Also the the drones seems really annoying, but I might remember that wrong since I have played it again last year and didnt have any issues.
Fish and Chips - Just found you because of this video. Really incredible honestly. Only thing I would add, is that the info about making one change at a time might be well served at the beginning. I just made all those changes, just to hear that at the end and now I'm wondering if it's going to work. First time modder, now I know!
You're absolutely right and looking back, I wish I'd have out it at the beginning. I'll make some type of correction when I'm home, promise! And thank you for the kind words!
@@deefactualI had a few issues. Ghost’s mask didn’t show up. And then the bigger one was that when I turned on first person view, if I turned around I was looking at my headless body. Very weird. Overall really cool though. It was way more immersive with the mods you recommended.
Hey! Yeah, that's just how the first person mod is. It's as close as anybody can get and nobody else has really tried. It attaches the player camera to a bone in the head of your player's body, sadly being able to stick a neck in there would require foundational changes to the game itself. Ghost Mask not showing up could be due to not having the balaclava yet to use it, which is just a case of finding how to get that item and completing the missions, shouldn't take long either!
He deef I turned of the UI volume on my PS5 and it’s fantastic I really like the content that you are making but when you make videos with oxide it’s not only serious but it’s also very funny about the jokes between you two when you are doing missions together makes it a lot more fun and realistic keep up the good work and there is something else ghost recon breakpoint and this RU-vid channel has changed my life I really want to thank you for what you have done
The HDR shader and LumaSharpen shader from Reshade (one is in the extension pack you have to select during the installation) are a must. It changes the game from fad colors to a great vibrant world. That with the FPS camera “cheat” should be the default go to. It's a totally different game. Then you have some hardcore mods that make the game even more like a FPS.
Combining the FP mod, along with using a Tobii Eye tracker for head tracking, is pure bliss. Get yourself a Tobii Eye tracker. Almost all Ubisoft shooter games support them (GR, Division, Far Cry)
what's missing is a close to reality suppressed rifle sound proximity. You use a suppressed rifle and guy just a few feet away doesn't even hear a thing. I hope someone is making a mod to fix this. It will bring a very cool and unique gameplay approach. Great content!
i just started playing this game, after having it sit in my library since it launched. game looks so good now and mods make it even better. Awesome video!
It's so great to see the legendary couple together again! Thank you, Deef, for your videos and all your work done. Thanks to you, I got addicted to this part of the series and now I'm trying to get my friends into it. I can't wait for my friend to enter it and we'll play it together! You're really cool!
God back when we were modding the early ghost recons, I spent so much time modding the game maps etc on our server. It got so popular we had to go to invite only. I actually met a couple of my closest friends who live in different parts of the world. We have all met and hung out in person multiple times. Shite I went to Poland from the USA to be in my mates wedding. Would love tonplay the modern versions modded games
Great vid, awesome demonstration for downloading the mods. I would never have even tried to download these before without a walkthrough video. Cheers mate
