i normally wouldn’t go for the heavy duty bumpers bc i like that clean look. But after being rear ended by a 20 year old jeep with one i think they’re prob one of the best things you could do. I gotta replace my rear bumper and tailgate and maybe even the bed floor on my f150. while the jeep just has to re mount his off-road lighting.

Show build after lift wheels and tires, definitely lights. Daily driver, dark tint especially after reverse leveling a white Ford F250. Offroading truck? Probably a tuner as well on a diesel not a gas but a front bumper with a winch is very important. So I'd go for the winch. Overlander definitely a roof top tent or I'd do like Australians, take out the back of a land cruiser 200 series and put a camper at the back. Performance truck, definitely breathers like diff breathers, transmission breathers and transfer case breathers. Then I'd go for an engine swap for a supercharged turbo diesel V8, dont know which one though but damn that would be super cool. A tuner wouldn't be bad too.

For Offroad: LOCKERS. And I'll say it again: Lockers. And along with that, probably differential gears to help turn larger tires A tuner really isn't going to do much for you off road unless you exclusively do sand/and or mud, gearing and low range should be giving you the torque you need for any trail duty. Plenty of old Toyotas out there wheeling with stock 22REs that have been geared properly. Bumpers are nice to have but not essential; more important for a full-size rig on jeep trails I guess.

Just realizing the lack of diesels in your lives. Goin all out on a truck and ya got the 1500, in my town it’s all 2/3500 Duramax/Cummins/Powerstroke’s with wheels suspension and mods. Seldom do I see that level of work dumped into the 1500’s here. Just find it a bit interesting, even in rolling in the OBS 7.3l with exhaust and tunes

Disagree on tint on daily. My truck had a rear window tint from previous owner and I hated it. Couldn’t see shit at night. Ripped it off and I’m so much happier.
