It looks like one of those special cinematic intros that they have, where the characters will both rush in and trade blows before the match actually starts.
I enjoyed it. Kusoru Sol, THAT GGX BAIKEN PLAYER LMAO, and so many old-school moments damn -- the N-O/PC clash sequence, the #R SBO match reset glitch thing. GG really has been around for so long.
Overclock gives you meter gain and nulls heat gauge. 66S makes you rapidly gain meter if you don't interrupt it. Rapid punches lasts as long as you keep mashing provided you don't overheat, which under Overclock, you never do. Between the three of them... Yep.
Great work! I'm a bit surprised that Ogawa vs FAB from GG GIGS in #R and mike vs ABEGEN from AC aren't featured though. Then again, there are simply too many fantastic moments in GGXX history!
It's pretty tough, it requires a good lot of situational awareness and meter management to do in a match. In terms of raw execution, it's not extremely hard though
Love this game the big characters were actually tougher but slower and girl characters fast with low damage and resilience.. I remember my friend picking Potemkin and I liked playing the girl with the hair and it took me ages to get him but feel hits from him and was dead lol
The flame behind Slayer during the overdrive is a projectile but usually doesn't hit. If you get the right spacing though and both slayer and the projectile hit, it does stupid damage.
Yeah I only played guilty gear x on ps2.. I remember Potemkin being very tanky with high damage attacks but a bit slower then the rest,, but range tho lol it was a bane to my girl character
more like "funny moments", but still great to watch. shoulda included that Mugen (BR) vs PO + PO + PO tag team from Isuka, as well. needed more RF specials and Domi bursts! i'll never understand why Pairon was so weird lol.
There are very conditional ToDs, but even in the unlikely event that you get caught in one, you still have burst, and you have dead angle if your guard gauge is at the point where you can get ToD'd.
@DaRkXyStEr It's the theme song to an old DS game called Kimi no Tame nara Shineru, localized in the US as Feel the Magic XY/XX, and in EU as Project Rub. RU-vid doesn't allow URLs in comments, but if you do a google search for the artist Naofumi Hataya and Kimi no tame nara shineru it shouldn't be difficult to find out where you can get this song.
Make me want to play ggacr again.I was disencouraged for sometimes by what blazblue fans said about ggacr(Somethings like the games was all about loop and guessing, unbalanced throw system is bad etc.). Which I found out to be misinformed BS (Well, its maybe true in older gg games though).
Absolutely not, the damage scale tone down the damage as you lost your HP. The damage will even be lower than the standard damage. Not to mention the it will tone down the damage during combo also. Also, only pressure combo would lead you to death if you don't know how to block or escape and the tools such as Guard cancel or Burst will be available to you if you predict your opponent movement right.
