Sad part is police doesn't penalize those driving rashly, overtaking opposite direction lane and blocking roads and many other violations...police just interested in stopping those who have not wearing helmets and suspected alcohol drivers so that will give them good bribes and also simultaneously reach the Fine targets for revenue. Root cause needs to be strong fines and penalizing by bangalore police, till then we Indians have 70% of drivers who are pathetic and will always break rules.

I agree. On the contrary, cab drivers are more sensible and well behaved than auto drivers. I have stopped taking auto long time back since the arrival of cabs. In fact cabs turn out to be cheaper for medium to long distance rides than autos. Auto waalas almost extort money from you. Some even start abusing if you don't take their ride. I do not understand why authorities are quiet on this. May be auto waalas are real rowdies whom police fear of. Moreover, near railway stations auto waalas harass cab drivers and do not allow them to park nearby. Autos waalas form gang. I think govt. should not allow such gangs and make autos more safer by granting auto license only after test of attitude and conduct, not just driving skills. I think Ola autos are a good remedy for this. They are tracked by Ola and I find them professional too.

Bad Drivers of Bangalore don’t risk your life for RU-vid content. I’m not saying your method or ideology is wrong(which i also used to do and stopped) think about it, you got thousands of drivers trying to reach destination on time with few aholes, few traffic followers and mostly opportunists in narrow damaged roads of our city. I see people have adapted to what is given to them, sure some lack manners and sense , but end of the day no cares in the middle of chaos and everyone is right in there own perspective. Keep going

I agree, two major points, 1. You are India, there is no point in talking. It's like teaching buffalo , ain't gonna happen. 2. Auto guys are locals and will never listen patiently to anything. If you call cops then how many cops should you call on every hundred meters??, they will do the same thing only.. It will take least two or three generations to wipe these assholes out and to get some decent ppl.

Forget auto/cab drivers, even educated people who work in MNCs behave same. Unless police intervene they are not going to understand. Strict punishment should be given with hefty fines for not following traffic rules on the spot. I am even OK (but wont support though) with a drunk driver who is driving sensibly than a sober driver who is driving irresponsibly and behaving like rowdy. Going on opposite lane has become a norm in bangalore and police is not taking any action. More over if we deny to break those rules, others (auto driver, cab driver, bike riders) start abusing and swearing on us and force us to break rules for their sake. I find it so pathetic. I had even posted so many complaints on Bangalore traffic app and Ichangemycity app, but in vain. BANGALORE TRAFFIC POLICE please wake up before Bangalore turns into a traffic rowdy city, which it has become almost now itself.

Bangalore was a tier 2 city till IT companies came there. It was no A tier city.....The country is a shit hole doesn't matter which Tier the city is. To get a license you need Rs.3000, not even knowing anything. give 6000 and they will deliver it to your house also.

This happens almost everywhere.only few of us follows rules only to get abused by morons. Pedestrians look sensible in video,here people find way to jump anytime. I remember I had to break my bike so hard( I was at 60) because someone jumped on road from divider,and He just walk away without even saying sorry or appreciating!!! And don't want to talk about Autowalas...they have lot to learn from Mumbai's Autowalas.

Wonderfully shouted the violations of traffic rules. I was a professional driver in France for 30 years and I drive in South India for the past 8 years. I became a heart patient and undergone angioplasty with two stents and counciling by psychiatric du to the traffic violations I faced against me on Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry roads. All the frustrations I have in my mind you have revealed. As you say when one respect traffic rules, people say him a maniac.

Seriously Bengaluru traffic sucks. I have never driven in any other big cities, but why compare. Its Bengaluru, we are supposed to be like an inspiration to others. Apart from daily events like what is shown in video There are so many mistakes 90% of the crowd make without any knowledge. Lack of lane sense is major one, its not subway surfer that you change to whichever lane is empty. Another major mistake I noticed is not using dipper. Almost all places are well liṭ, why do you need upper? Thats why people install high beam. With autos tempo and bus you cant expect anything. Sorry im generalising whole Bangalore traffic, I understand not everyone is so ignorant but from what i have seen generally this IS the case.

You haven't seen Mumbai traffic this traffic looks normal. Try Mumbai roads on peak time, one will be standing in same place for ages, a 5mins distance takes 1hr+

And also as pedestrians follow some discipline on the road. I think there is high time we bring desclipne. Actually no . I have driven in all states from Punjab to Maharashtra. Violent road rage aside which are done by criminals, normal average drivers in other states are way better in their traffic sense. For comparison in Delhi if some one is wrong they accept and don’t argue. Unlike in Bangalore . Plus I see people following traffic rules more in Delhi than in Bangalore . Driven more than 100k km in Delhi and close to 50 k in Bangalore.

Pedestrians crosses the road carelessly. If you protest, you'll be bullied. New trend of the young generation is Enfield or high pickup bikes with damaged silencer and blinking indicators.... 2:50 "you should see people coming from behind and pull over to the side" You are allowed to do shoulder check while hanging lanes or use the center mirror to keep tab on whats happening behind you. But when you approach a signal always keeps your eyes ahead. Autodrivers have lowest road IQ among the societies in India. Ignore them and avoid them as much as possible on Indian roads.

One thing I literally hate about our drivers is that everyone keeps trying to get in the ass of the driver up ahead. Atleast give them some space. If a car driver leaves space in front then a biker or auto will come and grab that space. So stupid.
