I miss the junk cars, buses, and trailers. That was one of my favorite parts of Monster Jam as a young kid. The course was always changing, and drivers would have to adjust. It wasn't just about jumps and big airs. I'm incredibly disappointed that they chose to do away with all that, but I keep coming back to see how much these behemoth machines have transformed over the years. It's incredible how much of a beating they're able to withstand. The engineering that goes into building one of those things still mystifies me as an adult.
The cars where literally unsafe, with the wheelspin of the truck, the debris can fly to the fans, in 1 day a child almoat died because of a piece of metal
Kodiak3 I’m afraid that can’t happen without cooperation with lawyers. Ford Motor Co. legally owns Built Ford Tough name. No permission from Ford, no running BFT Blue Thunder
"I don't even think he was coming down!" XD. You know, Buetow should become a commentar for Monster Jam because I could definitely see him doing something like that.
Some personal picks Wf2: Encore when Dennis goes through the container with Goldberg stuck on top Wf5: Toro loco going through the container with bounty hunter on top Wf8: Monster mutt jumping the pool with the breadtruck in it Wf10: Air Force afterburner clearing the double Wf11: Air Force afterburner almost landing a whip/flip Wf13: El toro loco getting stuck in the container
WF6: Dan Evans in Destroyer doing a combo in reverse, first over the bus stack and then over the container. WF7: Jim Koehler jumping over the fountain and completely wrecking the beautiful chrome Avenger body when he came crashing down. WF9: Chad Tingler in the Monster Mutt Dalmatian being the first to jump the triple bus obstacle and coming down perfectly on the downramp.
"mid air donut" it's a flat spin, not really a fan of today's commentary if you couldn't tell, there will never be another Scott Douglass and that sucks because he was so good at what he did
Funny you should ask. I haven't watched it yet, but I was thinking in my head, " if this truck in the screenshot doesn't get that high in the video, I'm down voting for click bait. Quick edit.: There's absolutely no reason to down vote this video. Just watched the Old GoldBerg truck actually spear a huge trailer and then shut the place down with a smoke show in every square inch of the track. ......now back to the video
This sport is going to get a lot more attention in the next couple of years. They have really been putting in some incredible performances. All of them
GraveDigger35 it’s sad to say, but it’s true. I went and saw it yesterday after not seeing it for about 5 years. The fans can now vote, which means Grave Digger will always win even though other trucks do better a lot of times. Where are the cars? I thought part of Monster Jam was car crushing. Why do they only do jumps and backflips in freestyle. What happened to tearing up trucks? I miss those days
@@flamics I personally think people who have not seen what these trucks have been doing lately are just now starting to notice. It took a little while but even the views on RU-vid are being viewed a lot more. I showed some of my friends a couple of recent videos and they are now wanting to go. Normally they would have never gave it a second thought. Have Faith and in a couple years these Trucks will be doing more flips than the X-Games.
Front flip was insane, the wheelie beforehand is when you can see absolutely nothing but the sky as the driver so to floor it and hope for the best...jezus this dude must have ginormous balls.
Hey Rodrigo? Can you do Best Monster Jam World Finals Save of the Year from every year for the World Finals please? It'll be so epic to see those videos.
just think, 100yrs ago truck wheels were made out of wood and now you can launch one 40ft in the air while covering a hundred feet and still walk afterwards.
From a technical perspective, the front flip is by far the most impressive. A lot of the other ones, you can easily replicate if you wanted to. They probably can't replicate that front flip even if they tried.
You can fight me on this but you will lose but every time Paula Duke has a new World Finals moment it's always the biggest one of That World Finals one more try
I agree with most of this list. Only one i feel like should get some sunlight is in World Finals 7 when Koehler aired out Avenger over the fountain that was insane.
Fun video to watch but the thing I don't get is why some trucks get shut off if the flip and land back on the wheels. But yet some drivers like Tom (I seen more then any other drivers on the MJ circuit) get to keep going with broken wheels and stuff and they don't shut them down. I guess when you have deep pockets and your on monster jam's D it works, lol. I still like seeing monster trucks but nothing beats the old school monster truck racing in my book
