I have a pair of GIVI TRK46 as sidecases for my Yamaha XT1200, and already droped the bike on them at least 3 times - and i'm actually more scared to break the support rather than the cases. Those things are bomb-proof! I also had (actually still have) a GIVI topcase (although not a TRK series) that survived 2 crashes on a GSX-R6 - the last one sent the bike to scrap

@@benfennell6842 Not yet. Has to replace the car first, as it's a stick. 17 Hyundai Elantra, which is now the wife's. Picked up an 08 Silverado extended cab, so I can open the rear door, and put my chair and keep a walker.in the back, out of the elements. Have.a line of a Honda NC700SA,.auto,.that the guy is looking to go bigger, and made a trade offer involving my 05 VTX.1800. He and dad are taking both out tomorrow after work, so we'll see what he thinks. Go in for my first consult and fitting in 2 weeks, figure I'll be riding again next spring. At least on two wheels,.as I did test a hand brake converted.Can Am Spyder a week ago, after my wife and I installed the conversion kit for a friend's wife, who lost her right leg below the knee over the winter. And it felt fucking awesome just getting back in the wind, not on the back. Not to mention the looks riding it, from people on the sidewalk. Not yet, but working on it. May pick up a Spyder BRP for days I don't feel like using the leg. Also, thank you for checking up.

@@benfennell6842 And yes, already been on the back, road brother brought his Elexrraglide by, and I had the wife grab the half lid, climbed on, and got out on a run with them. Rode back behind her on the Vulcan.

@@benfennell6842 Well,.I started riding at age 5 on a YZ50, and have been riding ever since. Mom and dad both rode. Yes, loss.of a limb is permanent, but the wheelchair isn't. It's just not in me to quit. If it was, inwould have given up on it 16 years ago after going blind in my right eye, and losing half of my left foot. Still ran a standard toe shifter after that as well. I see this as what it is, a permanent situation, but only a temporary setback. The only thing that stoos a person is that person.

freeflybigsky I really dont get why the SW-motech blaze isnt here. Its basically the exact same design but with expandable zips, inner dryba and mounting brackets that easily comes off the bike after use. The only thing i lile more about Cortech is the heat resistant bottom.

I have a pair of Cortech Super 1.0's that I bought used on the cheap, along with their matching top bag, and have had the exact same experience with their raincovers. They don't block more than a half-hour of rain and tend to collect rain in the bottom rather than letting it fall off, which is weird because they fit quite a bit tighter than the 2.0 rain covers in this video (though maybe it's because I usually use the saddlebags in their expanded position). I've taken to putting everything I want to stay dry inside them in a single big garbage bag, which works well enough. The saddlebags themselves don't expand or sag much when they get wet. I'm considering something like painting the rain covers with a DIY silicone wash to make them properly waterproof, but for now the garbage bags work.

@@SportSoulLife Yep I bought a bunch of SW Mo. It all looks the same after a while and it’s annoying to shop for. What Givi fits and does not fit was too much for me.

@@treytucker5619 3 years later update: SW-motech blaze still rocking like brand new, only one complaint. Why the hell did they not put another opening from the side. Would have been so much more covenient to pack. Sure from the top you can tetris it really thoroughly, but i dont see why you couldnt have both, the existing zipper ontop and a secondary next to the expansion ones which opens the side cover. Would make packing a breeze

I was quite surprised as well. Though Touratech gear was great quality, but I've definitely changed my mind about that.

Hi Alex! Yep, a Givi pannier rack should do the job. As long as there's something behind each saddlebag, to keep them from sagging inward toward the rear wheel, you should be good! ~RyanF9

giant loop siskiyous on my KLR...love them, and wouldn't trade them at all. two of my buddies have busted their tusk panniers...one trying to squeeze through some tight boulders, and the other dropped his......fixed the pannier and the lid flew off on the highway..... for me soft bags all the way

Late response, but it will for sure! The way it mounts on makes it basically universal for any bike with a lower exhaust.

Triumph has IMO nice nylon panniers as accessory for the street twin, you surf to there site and go to accessorize your bike
