I just paid 380$ with an awesome discount through IMBA for a set of e13 wheels that seem to be awesome. For the ballpark of 750$ you could get a onyx rear hub and a dt swiss front laced to spank oozy rims from colorado cyclist, and thats a really compelling set of wheels.

Definitely I9’s are some of the best hubs and wheelsets available now. Back when I bought my high end hubs ( Hadley, DT Swiss and Kings) the point was to have precision bearings, higher engagement and a rebuilding life lasting part. Due to the industry it was hard to stay current with frame specs. Hadley actually made replacement axles that converted my QR to a 9mm TA in front and to a 142x12 in back on both my geared and single speed specific hubs. They also came with a Ti free hub that didn’t wear out internally or externally get marred by my cassette or SS cog. I’ve stayed with Hadley for over 12 years

I know you are in the US, but I’m somewhat incredulous at the cost of these. I’ve gone from DTSwiss M1700 spline with a 54tooth upgrade to Hunt Enduro Wide (120 POE), and I absolutely love them. They cost me £359 - so around $400.

Sorry about that George! These do have Alloy rims. Industry Nine is a very high-end company so anything with a carbon rim and their name slapped on it would be well over the price point of these wheels. The only carbon wheels that will end up under a thousand bucks are Chinese junkers.

Ive been looking at the We Are One wheels. The Agent wheel set comes with an i9 101 hub and get's you a carbon rim with no questions asked lifetime replacements for $1,000. What draws me to them is the fact they make all their rims in-house and don't hide behind coating their carbon so I feel like I really know what I'm getting with them vs. a company just branding and selling Chinese rims

I am really having a hard time choosing between the enduro 101s or the enduro hydras. I currently have the cheap dt swiss m1900 with very poor hub engagement. I could find wheels DT swiss 1700HX and Hope Forte 30 at ~$800 or less, able to support my weight. Industry 9 goes up to $1500 to offer same capability. I would love to buy I9 because looks great quality, but at least for now... seems not an option compared with these other two wheels, which are also comparable quality.

The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great. ru-vid.comUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far). The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows. The suspension connection takes up the entire thing. So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top. Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge. Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it. Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase.
