"Black Lamp" był jedną z moich ulubionych gier właśnie dzięki muzyce. Orginalna tradycyjna melodia nosi nazwę "Greensleeves". Stopień trudności był dla mnie większy dzięki... monochromatycznemu monitorowi. Pozdrawiam!

Thanks for posting this video. As you said the selection is always a subjective issue. My Top 3 would be: 1. Jet Set Willy, Rob Hubbard, 1984, Software Projects,Tynesoft CS 2. Vicky, Tomasz Liebich, 1993, Union Software Of Silesia Rousers, L.K. Avalon 3. Boulder Dash, Peter Liepa, 1984, First Star Software, First Star Software First two are not the best games ever made but i still think the music was really great and nostalgia wins again :-D Especially regarding Vicky as my first not pirated Atari game bought for 47000 zlotys (before the redenomination :-)

Draconus has always been n.1 to me along with Jet Set Willy music, and Storm just follows :-)

Draconus.... I havent seen this in 20 years.... I loved this game, if I remember correctly you could turn in to a salamander type thing. Can remember why though.... might have been to get past water bits.

Ja swego czsu miałem nagraną kasete z muzyką z gier i dem z Atari i C64 (Think Twice III to mój numer jeden na C64). A co do Atari to Draconus zawsze był moim numerem jeden (zdecydowanie lepsza wersja od tej na C64). Następnie: Black Lamp, Storm, Ninja Commando, BMX Simulator i JSW - niekoniecznie w tej kolejności.

Pozdrawiam Autora zestawienia i zapraszam wszystkich na Atarowskie i inne sity fanowskie, bo jest ich w Polsce mnóstwo a Polacy to potęga światowa szczególnie w Atari 8bit.

Warhawk? Rescue on Fractalus? Eidolon? BMX Simulator? Last V8? Amaurote? Some serious omissions!! Not to mention Panther deserving to be riiiiight up there in the top 2! Opinions and all that though ;D

also great domain of the undead! There a cool tune of Toccata by bach at the beginning, and conan has great theme too ! And Stealth. I Wonder what the first title in Stealth is called, its by bach too

Adam Gilmore compositions are awesome. Draconus is the best of all although I prefer the Zybex theme because I used to play it with my brother (Draconus had only a single player mode) T.T

My top 10 Atari Music pieces are in no particular order is Tale of Beta Lyrae, Mule, Spy Vs Spy 2, the original Montezuma's Revenge, Alternate Reality, Bristles, that one game which plays "The Entertainer" at various speeds based on skill level that was presented in German, Spy's Demise, Mountain King, and Archon. I never heard of any of those titles listed in the list.

Not too bad; I think the c-64 took the home chiptune throne by the mid 80's, though. My fav Atari 8-Bit tunes are from the earlier part of that decade: The Startup tune for Alley Cat, by Synapse.. This one also had some of the best sound effects as well; The MULE theme song by Ozark Softscape; Bluemax 2010; Behind Jaggi Lines/Rescue on Fractalus by LucasSoft; Dragonriders of Pern by Epyx; and thats all I can think of off the top of my head!

Draconus - oczywiście!

Jet Set Willy (nie za nisko??), Zybex, Draconus ... a gdzie Pitfall 2 ^_^ Nadral, Boulder Dash nie zapominajmy o polskich produkcjach: Battle Ships, Fred, Hans Kloss :>, Master Head czy Kult ... tych tytułów jest za dużo na top 10 nawet jak się już nie odświeżało tych gier od paru już lat :P

Good choices for your top 10, all are great songs and great 8-bit musicians. But, I can't believe that Gary Gilbertson's Alternate Reality The City/Dungeon music is not on the top 10, arguably the best music ever for Atari 8-bit computers! And those games could easily fill all ten spots as there are many songs in both games; title songs and in-game Pub songs! I personally would have your top 5 game songs in my top 10 list, but I would have to have 5 of Gary Gilbertson's Alternate Reality songs mixed in there, with the title music to the games as number one on my top 10 list, and Draconus as number two, Zybex as three or four, etc. If you never have heard the music or played Alternate Reality on the Atari 8-bits, I pity you.

Adam Gilmore jest the best of all. A z innej beczki, czy ktoś pamięta taka grę na Atarynkę - po cmentarzu łaziły duchy i kościotrupki, które trzeba było unieszkodliwiać, muzyka była jakaś grobowa, klasyczna... gra płaska, dwuwymiarowa jak w Mountain Bike, tylko zamiast rowerka szło się ludzikiem...

Agreed. At least on POKEY chiptunes, it's Gilmore vs Bach 4:1. :) It's really weird, that AG doesn't have his wikipedia page (unlike Hubbard and Whittaker)...

Pokey sound is almost as good as SID. My top 5 favorite game tunes are (in no specific order) Kirby's Adventure (NES, first level) Jet Set Willy (Atari XL) Mutants (C64) Earth Shaker (ZX Spectrum) Stormlord (Amstrad PC)

Pierwszy mój wpis był dla zagraniczniaków a dla wszystkich innych którzy mieli atarynkę, wiedźcie że 8 bitowce nada żyją i mają się doskonale. Ja podałem wyżej można sobie odsłuchiwać muzyczki 8bit na PC i nie tylko bardzo prosto. W zestawieniu ASMA macie niemal cała muzę z Atari w komplecie. Poza tym informacyjnie; np. Na Spektrusia wyszło na świecie w 2010 roku 67 gier, na Commode i Atarynke niewiele mniej.

@phobeman Blinky has awesome music at ending, Amaroute has very climatic music....11 and 12 place on my list :)

Now if someone could find the title music for Cosmi's Super Huey on an 8-bit Atari... Some of these songs are cool though. Less familiar with these games than from vol.1 of this set.

Ciągle powstaje nowa muzyka, dema, gry i programy przewyższające często starsze komercyjne. Nie ma problemu podłączyć do plazmy/lcd. Pamięć dyskowa zrobiona jest na kartach SD do aparatów i fonów. Rozszerzenia pamięci RAM aż do 1024Kb i wiele innych ulepszeń. Wejdźcie na stronę scenową w adresie scenial i poczytajcie np. ile i jakiej jakości wyszło gier na Atari 8bit w zeszłym roku i co się dzieje ogólnie w temacie.
