My portfolio Quant Small Cap 25k Parag parikh flexi 25k Motilal mid cap 25k Canara Robeco blue chip 25k Nippon Small Cap 2.5k (SIP 2.5 k monthly) SBI small cap 3k (SIP 3k monthly) SBI Contra 5k ( SIP 2.5k monthly) Not started investing in any index funds. Is this looks good for long term? Any suggestions?

I am unable to stop that. Especially when I see a difference between the invested amount and current value. I don't know whether my selected stocks are good for the future or not.
Check list - 1)Expense ratio.2) even if ratio is high check for net returns.3) Check fund manager history and style of management 4) Consistency of returns over more than 3-5 year of time Period.

Prasad, one request please make video on investing in debt instruments - do cover debt mfs, rbi bonds, G secs, FSRBs, SDLs, tbills, FDs, etc.. looking at the present juncture of the market, which is at extremes and the prevailing RBI repo rates, can investing in govt bonds be a wise decision and lock in a fixed ROR for a decent duration.. G-sec fund returns will depend on interest rates. You better pick any target maturity g-sec if you have specific time horizon as they will deliver the yields that are mentioned in it.
Agree, this I know..but eventually if you see all fixed instruments are dependent on RBI rates... That's what I want to have an idea for a detailed view by Prasad..how FRSBs are better than the NSCs for a shorter duration.. Gsecs are indeed very long term instruments, advantages of T bill also he can cover, also how to access rbiretail website and cover SDLs also.. there are lot of fixed instruments these days.. lastly pros and cons of debt mutual funds also..
NAV ki jo price aati hai wo already expense ratio baad karke aati hai aur wo NAV dekhke hum return dekhate hai to usme gross aur net nahi hota hai wo net hi likha hota hai sirf exit load add karna hota hai

@@amanag1273 etfs have better liquidity ofc at the same time instead of small and mid cap funds you can invest in their etfs and save up on expense ratio
