I have them both and in same colors as yours....they are definitely a must have. I like the neck of the older one too, much more comfy. The longer one looked like I had lights coming from my chest when I wore them while camping, I am also smaller chested. After noticing that, I went back to the shorter one while we were camping. It was kinda embarrassing. But they both do work the same....totally agree with you 100%. Thanks Christa!! ☕

Awesome review Christa!👏 Being on a budget I bought the cheaper necklight that uses batteries & love it.... no complaints at all!!😉 I use rechargeable batteries in it, but the charge lasts for ages.😆 It's been fantastic during power failures, for crocheting in bed & when using dark yarn.💖💜💖 Definitely an essential item for crocheters & knitters.....or for anyone!👍 Blessings from South Australia.💕🐨

You know I love love love love love love this review, & You! When you mentioned it a while back about the neck light, I bought me one from Amazon the updated one it only comes in the color black is the one I have with great Velcro Strap too. (oval & bumps) if the bumps are bothersome , all you have to do is get something to wrap around the bumps, the bumps don't bother me. I bought mine back in May and I've only had to charge it like maybe 7 times and I used my light mostly every night 😁thank you so much! PS I was looking to buy another one off of Amazon just last week they've marked the price down to just over $15! Because of hurricane season, I believe we should all have neck lights especially the Elderly/ disAbled so I'm thinking about getting one for my mother-in-law. Christa, you are the most Fab! Lol watching the video as I was typing a comment and you just said what I typed about putting something around the bumps hahaha! Like I said you are so Fab!

Ok I bit the bullet and ordered the light from amazon. I've heard you talk about it. I got tired of all my lights needing batteries and dying on me. I ordered the newer version because wanted the longer "arms". Well I LOVE it! I love the fact that all I have to do is charge it and I don't even have to do that often. It was helpful how you showed how the lights look on the book pages. And especially helpful when you showed reading in bed in a dark room, which is how most people would use it.

Thank you for the great review. Was just about to order a neck light, so this helps tremendously. Have an Ottlite on a stand, however, you can't very well wear that. LOL! Although I am chestier, will order the original light as I know I would prefer the neckpiece without the nubs:)

As I suggested before...just crochet a little cover to hide the bumps on the new one! You can use a fave yarn that you love the feel...use that! I have the new one and the bumps don’t bother me at all 😊

Hubby recently got a neck light but I don't think it was this one. By the way, the old version does come in the cute blue color as well. :) I like the idea of the velvet strip and also that the older one is narrower at the neck. But I am busty so not sure if I would need the extra length. Guess I have to get BOTH to test them out to see which one will work. Thank goodness for Amazon returns. LOL
