I grew up in presidential Park down the street from Don Derr Park on Monroe St. That is not a nice area by any stretch. Not the worst ion Riverside, but it is below average. Overlook or Canyon Crest are fairly nice. Anything between Madison and maybe Van Buren is below average. Not the worst, but definitely not good. Basdically anything in the middle of Riverside is kinda ghetto. The nice areas are above Victoria, La Sierra Hills, or up Central towards MoVal.
I recently moved to Riverside from EU. I lived Italy also. I got a room here for 500 dollars and I'm lucky. In Italy, I can get a nice 2-room apartment overlooking the sea for 5-600$.I met several American retirees in Italy who moved there!....new sub.
You got it Malak Angel. I don't remember exactly when but I do have Redlands coming up in the next couple weeks I believe. I'll have to work on Loma Linda though.
@@JoseSepulvedaSoCalRealtor My son is half Hispanic so of course I love them. My point is that Riverside’s population is now about 70% Hispanic. I’d venture to say though, that half of that 70% is non English speaking which puts a burden on the rest of us.
I think this guy got his. Info from wikipedia and really has no idea of the true nature of the areas he speaks of. Saying this as a decades long resident of Riverside.
Sounds like you have had different experiences than the people I've helped move to the city over the years. There are 2 reasons why I keep the channel going 1) I love helping people by answering their real estate questions and providing insight on different cities and neighborhoods 2) comments like this keep me entertained. I still appreciate you watching though Duke.
@@JoseSepulvedaSoCalRealtor As a Southern California native I moved to Riverside in 1990 from the Los Angeles area. It was a quiet, beautiful, semi rural area back then. It’s changed dramatically over the past 30+ years, and not for the better, I’m sad to say.
