Absolutely you need to do a full review on this rifle. This is an awesome concept, but it will come down to whether this thing is worth the money. If it shoots like crap the cool factor won’t mean diddly.
Surely they could have gone a step further & make it better folding so it’s not a weird triangle. For eg the stock should have been side folding, & the barrel could have folded underneath making it much more compact than a triangle shape..
Of course you should do a review. This segment has been over looked for too long. I've been using air pistols for my drills ever since ammo started going up and getting harder to find.
I’d love to see a review. It looks like an innovative product that has a ton of potential. The bayonet looks a little flimsy and could use some improvement from the looks of it. It’d be interesting to see it in testing. I personally think they should ditch the multitool functionality of the bayonet and just have a dedicated survival style bayonet. The wrenches built into the blade of the knife seem like they’d structurally comprise the blade in hard use scenarios. This air rifle looks like it could potentially have military survival applications, it’d be interesting to know the weight.
Agree, a solid knife/bayonet would be well worth it and most of us have tools for other jobs and do not want trinkets that look cool and then break if tested!
I'm not against innovation, but this needs a few more generations of development before it's perfected. That meaning compact enough to actually carry in an existing bag. I think a multi-pump air pistol with a folding stock would be better than this currently. Something like a Crosman American classic with beefed up internals so that you can get the pressure levels up.
Someone had the idea to fold both ends to shorten it. Then they realized it made a triangle, so ran with that. What they should have done was fold the barrel flat, and swing the stock sideways. And forget the triangle case. The knife can stay though. Making it a bulloup would help shorten it even more. And Gam, I think it is, is making a .30 springer. For a survival rifle, a .30 would be awesome.
It would be interesting to know the velocity and I’d ditch the flimsy bayonet for a Mora companion and maybe some ammo and a small tool kit in that box.
@@D33Lux I was thinking just have it fold to the side, not gonna make it that much thicker and have the barrel fold further inward if possible, this as it is is in my opinion pretty unwieldy and not compact at all.
This is freaking awesome! It wasnt mentioned about how it loads? Is is a pump rifle or dose it take pressure bottles? It would be perfect if it was a pump of course, then you only need ammo for it and your off! I would immediately buy all rubber replacement parts yano seal's and gaskets, or what have you so that if i was out in SHTF ,long enough and the seals go, i already have a replacement. Of course it could be used for self defense in more of a preemtive role ,rather then openly defending your self against people armed with centerfire guns. To me this would be the tool i fed my self with ,without giving away my position! ;>) Although i would like ot see it in a caliber that could even take a medium sized wild Hog?? They do make airguns that can but they are charged with huge pressure resiviors ,rather then hand pumping..... A hand pump air gun that could take a deer or hog would be priceless!!! I will be looking ot buy one in ODG ,when they come out with a green one but other then that im sold! Didnt even see it shoot yet or how its charged but im sold! LOL I could shoot in my backyard in my bluest of states! LOL Nobody would hear a thing! hehehe I target shoot in my yard with a Crossman 766 pump BB gun that will accept pellets "one at a time" as well. Had one just like it as a kid but it will be lucky to take very small game. At best if i take my time i can take doves ,and we need at least 10 of them to make a meal! LOLBut a 22Cal will take rabbits and racoons or what ever would be on the menu during SHTF when theres nothing else! LOL I have already eaten or at least tried a number of wild game. Family of hunters ,although i dont hunt my self. I can and have but i just decided ,after exiting the military that i wasnt going ot kill anything.... Now i have walked that back to hogs as they are evassive animals and i would consider hunting hogs. But if its SHTF ill hunt and eat what ever i can get for the protein! Take the same idea. Use the barrel folding they have but put a clip on the underside. Have a side folding stock. Doesn't interfere with the railing and can just be packed in a regular bag. Wouldn't mind seeing a review though. Bayonet was a weird idea though.
@@andywilson8698 I understand the idea but it is still a break action foldable air rifle. The chances of you using that in any realistic capacity without damaging the gun? Not very high

Agree with previous commenter; I would appreciate a decent sturdy survival knife that could be used for batoning firewood, making feather sticks for fire, possibly other functions, Full Tang, and sturdy. I don't see myself using a survival .22 in hand-to-hand combat (I am fairly ancient.) Of course, Other folks might.
Theyre missing a lot of potential in that case. Most people dont want a knife (they've already got one in their pocket) I'd be looking more for ammo storage for the gun (extra magazine, or something similar)
since an air gun doesn't have much of a stopping power especially if an assailant is coming at you with a knife, you'd want to penetrate said assailant with the pellets to injure him and as he gets closer then you want a bayonet or spear sort of weapon to keep the distance advantage by keeping the assailant from making contact with you until he succumbs to the pain of the imbedded projectiles if you still didn't stop him with the bayonet.
Interesting starting point for a survival air rifle. 22 or 25 cal with enough velocity can drop a deer at 30 ft with one point of impact. It won't die right off but will be off its feet with a brain bleed. However the rifle needs to be only one pump per shot. Around here almost weekly deer are close enough to get the shot. Still having spent a lot of time in the woods alone I've gotten close enough to deer to touch them. Takes a lot of time though.
When you've got 200 million other Americans in those woods with the same air rifle and bayonet you aren't going to get within 50 ft of ANY deer. Best go to the grocery store
@@mikehunt8375 I've been airgun hunting for many years, I've had PCP's for over 20 years and springers for 50, a survival rifle must be independent for the need of an external source of compressed air, this is either done by pumping or spring, I don't think there's a spring powered rifle making 30ftb the recoil makes the accuracy suffer but more importantly they're incredibly heavy, you can pump the gun up before you go hunting so you don't need any pumps while your out.
The FX Indy is a first in that it features an onboard self-contained compression pump system! Sad they discontinued this. 😓 All breakbarrels and undelevere should just have a folding or attachment stock.
I'd like to see a hands on review. Doubt I'd buy one. There are some air rifles out there that are great AND inexpensive. I've bought a few from clearance at $25 each. If it breaks just grab another.
you know imho that rifle would fold more compact if the buttstock was a slide out wire stock or a side folder instead of an under folder ..and would fit in any backpack with less effort or need for a special backpack for it ..i mean in a survival backpack you need all the space you can get for other not any less important tools as well ..right ?

The middle case needs to be a deeper storage box and use better space as I you can fit loads of pellets and a few scopes. Can't wait to see an accuracy test and how many fps! 😏👍
This is great idea not just for survival but pest control saves me having rifle over my shoulder and carrying my hide out to the field and bulky gun case really clever definitely be getting one plus the bayonets cool
Possible to achieve 1200fps... what's the barrel length... Will it be suppressor ready without the bayonet... Is it PCP with 10 shot magazine or pneumatic sgl. shot... What's the MSRP....
They really missed the mark on this rifle. The Desertech .22 bullpup is much better, or a River 10/22 takedown with folding stock. The .50 cal air rifle would have been a better starting point.

I think it looks awkward and overt . What i mean by overt is that it stands out to much and when i say awkward necause having to carry a rifle shaped like that on top of possibly a small bag would just be a pain .the accepted shape i believe would usualy be something that folda along its length for good reason . Easily strapped to or inside a back pack .
I would love to see you do a full review on it for few months on it to if how good it is and see how good it is built if anything will breaks on it or not sir so work the air rifle hard how good or bad it is sir
very interesting idea I wonder what the power of it would be I live in the UK and out laws are pretty strict on air rifles we have a power limit of 12ftlb
Aka, overcomplecation. Just buy a cheap springer like the WineRack HW99 ffs! Need to make it really compact, undo the single, stock retention screw. Quicker to assemble, less to go wrong, really will fit in a rucksack, weighs less and will last forever.
Great idea, but, wtf is the case for???? A knife really? Should just fold together making a smaller package instead of making a special triangle backpack lol.
