My absolute most anticipated album is coming out in April... The sophomore effort by Fires in the Distance entitled "Air Not Meant For Us". The two tracks they've released so far are ridiculously good and they've just got an incredible sense of melody and ability to create soundscapes wrapped in pure death doom brutality. Also, that Majesties album is delightful and looking forward to checking out Spirit Possession.

Oh my God... So much lol with the Majesties record. I'm also extremely picky with my Melo-Death. My metal buddy from Saudi Arabia sent me the link to it in the middle of the night and I saw that it was "Gothenburg inspired" and went "Jesus Fucking Christ, I'm going to hate this." But then I saw that members of Inexorum and Obsequie were in the band, so I gave it a shot and realized "Thank fuck, this is actually good!" So I'm glad that I can actually say that I liked it if my buddy asks me about it.

Dawn Ray'd, Majesties (Lunar Strain 2.0 and a-ok with that!), and last month's (Feb 24, counts to find out now!) Wretched Fate are all bangers. Dawn Ray'd I knew of via Austin from panopticon but never got into them. The songs from this upcoming are awesome though.

Great shout on the Majesties record, nice and heavy on the melo and the guitar sound is lush 👌 Edit: I have been listening to this album every day and I think it might have some of the best metal riffs I have ever heard. Just absolutely unreal.

Another phenomenal black metal record coming out this Friday ; CIEMRA from Belarus releasing their LP debut “The Tread of Darkness”. These guys were a refreshing reminder of why I was captivated by bands like Dissection, Immortal and Watain back in the day.

Batushka - Maria is a really good album. Witchthroat Serpent - Trove of Oddities at the Devil's Driveway (quality stoner doom). Vredensdal - Sonic Devotion To Darkness (Their album made in 2020, The Tyrant Shade, is creme de la creme Norwege. Pure filth!!). Marianas Rest - Auer Aara - Triade III: Nyx Old Forest - Sutwyke Blaze of Sorrow - Vultus Fati Tilintetgjort - In Death I Shall Arise (Wow, I thought this month was going to be average compared to february. Five high quality albums at the end of the month, plus all the releases highlighted by Bangertv, makes it a really enjoyable month for Black metal fans)

Not sure if you have seen Spirit Possession live, but the guitar player uses a weird technique not sure what it's called, and it looks as weird as the sound it produces. Pretty cool to see them live if you get the chance.
