Seriously. Talking over her, mocking her, constant eye rolls and nasty comments. Like all this show has done is give even more reason for everyone to love Nicki. And not only that but Nicki was constantly trying to uplift the contestants and show them they were each special and that their talent has a place in this world. And she was a total boss who pushed women to be their very best. Mariah was just a snobby brat who is seems salty she’s not everyone’s favorite, instead of supporting another women in that cutthroat industry. Incredibly disappointing.

Mariah Carey is a very misunderstood person and I feel like the media enjoys presenting this derogatory image of her and attempting to demean her legacy and image. She purposefully presents this Diva persona to mock the people who try to destroy her image. Deep down, you can see that she is a woman with a God Given talent, just trying to do the best by her children and the people she cares about. Ik. I can't stand her music though I think she has a pretty voice when she sings. I just have never been able to tolerate her subject material or how she is presented in music videos. But, when I see her in interviews and on things like this, she's just so sweet and charming, and (as you said) good. She can dress so wonderful at times too. I can't dislike Nicki as a person, though I don't agree with a lot of the things she does.

There is no difference in someone living off their talents as a doctor or someone living off their talents as a singer. Both are working with what they have. One may make more than the other or be more well known, but that doesn't make them better.

I kind of agree with NIcki. Why box yourself into ONE thing? The music industry could use someone who sounds different and unusual. Why just be pop, rap, or country? People should be coming up with completely NEW genres of music, and be creative! Dubstep may not be what you personally like to listen to, but it's a genre of music that is at the very least different. And I respect that.
Right!! I noticed that about American Idol and I swear that shizz gets on my nerves. I know they've let some people not go to Hollywood because they didn't fit a certain genre but they sounded really good. I think one of the ppl they let go came back another season and won too. It was a recent one

All I'm gonna say is, no matter what surgeries Nicki has had, that doesn't affect her talent and her personality. She's not afraid to be herself no matter how crazy and eccentric she may be. And she proves her passion through her songs and verses. She is beautiful in every way.

I agree with nicki why are they pushing the girl into this small little box stamped country? they're not letting her create herself and her brand but pushing their views onto her. that's why I don't really think these kind of shows are for people who are in it for the music and for authenticity.
