I agree with sooo many of these games. Cult of the Lamb, Soundfall, Kirby, OFK, XB3... all top notch. Also, I picked up Lost in Play the other day on your recommendation and have really been enjoying it. I'm taking it in small, bite sized sessions (one or two "areas" at a time) to make the experience last longer. Thanks for making a video about it, as I totally would have given it a pass due to all the other recent releases. So glad I didn't!
Cult of the Lamb has been my obsession for a week. The combat feels SO GOOD, one of my favs since Hades. My first file broke though and didn’t keep Ratau’s house unlocked. So I restarted and got back to where I’d been within a day. It’s. So. Fun.
Switch lite user here and can confirm there are some serious glitches and bugs (dungeon doors not opening and soft locking), but I would genuinely rate cult of the lamb a 9/10 despite this. It's addicting and adorable
I have found so many new games watching your videos. I haven't started Lost in Play yet. Currently playing Littlewood which I am really enjoying due to no daily clock, time passes as you do things. Thank for the videos.
great video! a small suggestion I think it would be good if you added the title of the game in text as you talk about it. also, time stamps throughout the video for each game would be really nice!
Something tells me, late 2022 will have such amazing games like maybe Metroid Prime Trilogy, Fire Emblem updates, Pokémon. Man, this is a decent year for Nintendo!
35 hrs in? Girl, I'm 80 hrs in and nowhere near completion. It's amazing Xenoblade chronicles 3 is really that good (and new player to the series friendly).
Now I have more games to add to my ever growing list. 😂 I have been addicted to Cult of the Lamb. I personally haven’t had any issues, but I’ve also never played it elsewhere. I’m enjoying it, so I will stick with the switch port. So glad you do so many videos. Nintendo should pay you because I keep buying games due to your videos. 🙈
I really want to get Cult of the Lamb, but am not totally sure yet as I'm less wanting battles in my games right now so unsure. Am happy to hear there's an easy mode though at least. Hope you'll review fully once patched, didn't realized you had streamed it? Was considering OFK, as I enjoy those types of games for a good chill play time. Another I love that's similar is Coffee Talk heh
Speaking of dungeons/fighting and cozy, have you heard of Sakuna of Rice and Ruin? Kind of a beat'em up and rice growing simulator. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous and it plays extremely well on Switch!
Gee, you might have finally talked me into Cult of the Lamb. Maybe Xenoblade Chronicles too, although I’m not good at action RPGs. I feel like I’m marking time atm while I’m waiting for Crisis Core, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Star Ocean Divine Force, Harvestella, Coral Island and Dragon Quest Treasures. Q4 is going to be huge!
@@Eeowna I wanted to circle back to this to let you know that I bought Xenoblade Chronicles 3 based on your tip here. Absolutely loving it, but feel so guilty about the Easy mode, that I changed it to Normal. Great game!
Triangle Strategy is my fav game of the year and I also loved 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim (though I believe this was a port of an older PlayStation game) Cult of the Lamb, Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Strange Horticulture (which I believe came out on PC before 2022)
Cult of the lamb is a fun game when it works, I wouldn't recommend picking it up on switch yet till a patch because as of now it's a mess. I just wish I knew about the bugs, glitches and softlock before I downloaded it.
Sorry that im saying this again but monster harvest is seriously such a like weirdly cozy game. The vibe like kinda reminds me of stardew valley. Mixing pokemon with stardew valley weirdly fits as you can see in the game
It seems less glitchy after all the patches but still has no soul. It's cheap enough if you just like farming and dungeon crawling though. I love the energy system and turn based battles.
Completed xenoblade chronicles 3 in 40 hours doing new game plus now on chapter 6 all characters level 80 atm sick game can't stop playing complete pokemon bd and legends done all the dexs and then transfered all to home 😁
Xenoblade 3 is sick one of the best games I've ever played. I'm in chapter 5 as well but I have 118 hours :) I'm just freely exploring and killing high level bosses slowly pushing main quest forward
They really did Kirby justice with this one, had my doubts for the first full 3D kirby game but they really pulled through 🦾 Now if only that were the case for Sonic lol
Hi, I have the switch OLED which I love so much. I’ve been wanting to play more games whenever I have free time. Do you have any advice on how to play games for a longer time rather than turning it on and play for a few minutes? I’m also a tv watcher so that takes up most of my free time.
how does your storage work on your switch for all your games? I got an SD card but I think I didn't get one big enough. also ty for these videos, I've found some games (esp cosy ones) that I'm really looking forward to getting into!
I started with a 32 GB SD card, and it lasted me a fair while since I prefer physical games. I just ordered a Sandisk 256 GB card for under $30, and I expect by the time I need to look at expanding again we'll be looking at the Switch successor. After doing a fair amount of shopping and research I went with the 256 GB (instead of something bigger) because it provided the best memory to price ratio.
@@RwnEsper thank you! I'll definitely have a look into that, I download the games much more than buy a physical copy so I think getting that one will be best for me. I just gotta figure out how to transfer everything from the one I've got, I'm not great with this stuff 😅

i can't get excited anymore about a new pokemon game simply because pokemon has been dropping the ball lately. They know a new pokemon main game is gonna sell regardless, so it feels like they aren't putting an effort into making it the best game I can be instead it feels as they are aiming for okayish

Nope! The story is all self contained in this game, there’s a few Easter egg type things if you have played the previous games. But at surface level this can definitely be your first game 😊
