I recently use hyper Fatboys again. They are 72mm/84a. Only disadvantage, they have a massive plastic core. What are the disadvantages to non cored wheels if i may ask. I broke a couple of hubs already but those had spokes, not a massive plastic core/hub. Also I was lucky l, no delaminations yet.
Most wheels have some kind of a harder core, the MPC has the built in cores and for the purpose I used it (aggressive skating) I don't know of any disadvantages of having a built in core. The plastic spokes or large solid plastic hubs make the wheel feel harder. I have even seen Loco releasing those Alu core core wheels, those must be really fast on good surfaces but super harsh to ride on bad pavements .
@@bladelab i also bought the Loco revolver wheels to test them out since i really love the famus wheels. Only downsize with the Famus is the compound. For smooth surface perfect, but to soft for rougher pavement. Those revolvers feel way harder, last longer but doesn't feel that fast which is weird imo.
