If I don't like a liner without heatmolding I won't like it after. plus I lose chance to return it and decreases resale value. Heatmolding liners do work, I just rarely do it. The foam of this liner felt thick and harder than usual and I am not sure if any heat molding could change that.
I can only feel the CJ Seba in the toe a lot more BUT the shape of the UFR is different than the CJ. Added DEAD heel pad in both. Also no insole need in Intuition
I have lot of frames printed, btw if you scrub through the first upload on this channel, I think I go through most of them, but its mostly silly and weird stuff
Depends a lot on one's age I guess but personally I almost always wear padded short, knee/shin guards and mittens for agressive, sometimes one elbow guard or wrist guard when sore, sometimes an helmet for bowl. You only got one body, the better you protect it, the longer you can keep shredding !
I personally didn't notice a difference in the ankle and heel area other than the shape of the carbon shell, I didn't take apart an iqon boot to see it, but the carbon cups around your heel a more noticeably with the iqons, I noticed that cup edge was hurting my heel on left foot for some reason, didn't heat it, but they should came symmetric tbh (right one was totally fine)
@@royman0I was never happy with any skate's heel lock, I even modded the carbons to lock better but this is one is way better, full disclosure: it's my niche handmade skate that I am developing: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W_wN3FfAX_A.htmlsi=CIrtoDttHLpIolrw
haha thanks I had serious problems with hearing my own voice on recording since my early childhood, but practicing with blade tech type videos really helped me to get over it and I still have so much to improve upon
Looking for new liners. I have the Ridder liners and noticed the sizing is different to the Them liners and Premium (5mm staggered in sizing). Is this noticeable as i could really do with the extra 5mm. Thanks
I can't give you more advice than my own experience, but I can comfortably skate 300mm FR or Premium in narrow 295 carbon shells. The thems are much puffier and I currently don't even have a skate to put them into. I like the FRs the most, it's thinner than thems, but thicker than skate/premium.
Great skating man! And awesome music 🖤 now I check all of your Videos out! 🎉 thats the best thing about blading it has no rules and no one style is right! You motivated me now to try New Moves💫🔥
Thanks Kevin, much appreciated ! People want to make rules for it and I have very small reach and influence but it makes me feel the other part of my mission is complete when I manage to either get someone to skate again or give them lightbulb moments to try out similar ideas. The problem is we won't get younger anytime soon to skate big and risky stuff again, but I think there isn't a limit on doing small but new, novel, out of the box ideas on smaller obstacles .
I have no idea what that means but it doesn't sound good, I don't watch that guy because I don't like his content, if someone doesn't like mine, they don't have to watch it either, it's that simple
Where did you get your hands on a pair of suspension frames ? Can I buy them off of you? I am building a classic skate from my childhood and I need a pair of these frames . Let me know @bladelab !
I found them a couple years ago in my local store, it was just sitting there as dead stock and it was really cheap. I just sold one that came off the Legacy skates, I would rather keep this last one just as a reminder. They are hard to find, but not impossible, just keep searching in blade trade groups from time to time, or just check them daily and snatch the first one that is available. I have so much super rare gear, got most of from blade trade groups.
@@bladelab I am not on Facebook so I’m not in any groups . I’ll give you whatever you want for them . I really really want a pair badly . Let me know !
to me , not really, even if i pull the velcro strap on fully tight, the shoe could be locked into the heel but my foot could still slip inside the shoe
How about the size fit? I want to buy this skate but Im worried about the fit. Im 278 mondo using 9.5 intuition and 10US vans. The size 10 is 275 mondo and the 10.5 is 282
I can't really give a sound advice on that, these new DL footwraps do fit a bit wide and voluminous, which is good for me because I have wide feed and I wear two pairs of socks for everything.
Good stuff, man. Keep at it. I enjoyed the hurricanes and cess slides. You utilized the box well. Awesome getup btw. Like a post apocalyptic ninja that found skates.
Thanks so much, you are one of the few who understands this character / persona I am doing with the rollerblading thing, not even sure if it's me or a character. Thanks again for the motivation in these demotivational winter months.
@@bladelab Yw. Glad to give some love. Oh, and not to preach at ya, but felt I needed to say this. You're the character and the character is you. It's an aspect of yourself. Embrace it but don't over identity with it either. All about that balance. Speaking from experience, lol.

i don't think it's as good as I wanted to be but I am glad you liked it :) lost a couple calories during filming them and sometimes spent full sessions doing a few of these, 30-60 try runs and a many sore days afterward haha
Friendly tip: try using black medical or food gloves. Even white ones should do the trick-maybe even better, but I assume they would get dirty much quicker. I think it could make your videos look even more premium and professional since you already paid attention to the background and lights. The functionality is the same, there is no need for protection of these thick working gloves that makes you look kind of serila killer :) Rachard got it right.
I normally have black latex gloves at home, I don't really like those tbh, I sweat in them so much and I only use it when I work with strong chemicals, not good for mechanical stuff, they tear so easily and they are one time use, so much waste those create. Btw I started wearing gloves in the early blade lab videos(that aren't even on yt) because I was : 1: freezing, I don't heat the other room where I work on all kinds of stuff 2: with artificial light, my hands sometimes get overexposed and oversaturated and looks like bright pink steak or something. Since I shoot mostly with natural light nowdays, it's not even necessary, it just stuck, sometimes I have it on, other times I don't. I think the opposite, the black latex gloves are the ones that give off that serial killer vibe.
Never tried doops, they are the same v2 skate with a raised heel plate, I never wanted to try doops because I know how soft and bendy V2s are (same as V1s) at least on me. I can't even skate 65mms on xjados/doops I would never think about puttin 90-100+ wheels on them,
@@rollforever_85 lucky for you, i ran a poll with 20 people and third get pain often and another third get pain sometimes while one third where you are experience no discomfort or pain
its a bit heavy tho, old footwraps were 300-350g , these are 500grams, i can skate them comfortably, today i skated them and EE eclipse on the other side, i will post a comparison review in a few days or weeks haha
I didn't know these could be bought alone, and these are totally on my list to scoop this year. I'll never skate xsjado, I dont care to try them. With the way people wear salomon shoes and keen and on... I'll be able to rock these casually and not stick out.
They work for me as regular shoes vs the eclipse liners, i can't walk in those haha. Size wise they fit well both for walking and for skating. I am making an EE eclipse vs DL wrap comparison soon , today I skated by having one of each in my skates.
The Foryos liner is in my eyes by far the best liner on the market for Roces M12 and the Razors Cult. They fit absolutely perfect with no need for adjustments.
and this is not only my opinion, I asked a few xjado heads who skate these to this day after more than a decade and they agree, it's heavy , feels bulky, uncomfortable, disconnected, painful, slips at the heel and who remembers what else, I love DL and EE but these skates on work for a select few and the rest of us, for the rest of us there are dozens of plastic and carbons boots that will be better in every way than these

thanks haha I live in 2nd world country so I need to make my own stuff here because there is not much good or interesting here to skate on. I designed and built all 3 of these, the gray straight box is from covid times, I built the rail recently and I had to redo the concrete surface on that pavement (it's a public area in a park where nobody goes) and I built the wave/anti wave box recently :)
to be honest I have not , I saw when Sacha SImms did it , I partially thought its a good idea, partially bad because intuition or most non-walkable liners are somewhat soft and pliable at the toes, so it offers even protection than the wraps or eclipse liners. I think some Farmer wraps had steel toe protection which could be a bit overkill, some semi hard plastic toe cap in the wrap/eclipse liner would be just fine, but skating in intuition liners with your shadows must be like you are wearing socks and sandals for skating . On the other hand a few days ago , I thought about cutting up an intuition liner that has already been cut up to fit in my adapts , maybe intuition foam would make great padding material for the cuff and the ankle strap, because the ankle flap part could cut into the top of your feet so badly. Also the thicker intuitons would work better like FR and thems, no sure how the skinnier ones would feel with the skeletons (like skate and premium) I don't really spend any time on my 3 xsjado skates to be honest, they don't work for , I collect them for nostalgia value pretty much, they are most likely the worst, heaviest, clunkiest skates for me and I know other people love to skate them for some odd reason.
thanks, I did way more parkour type tricks on blade than I included in this video, I rarely do parkour type stuff on blades nowdays, it is definitely fun , new and interesting and difficulty can ramp up quiet fast, there is a longer chill version of this edit that is 2 mins longer , i might upload this later this year
Thanks, much appreciated. Nothing is easy if it's outside of our daily routine. Neither of us are getting younger unfortunately, but I think we can skate in a smart way even as we are getting older.
