Thank you so much for this video - we need way more content like this! I'm looking for a baked bronzer that isn't super orange so I'm excited by your Kiko and Hourglass recs. I would highly rec the Phytosurgence bronzers. They did a whole range where you can choose between rosy and yellow undertones and they have every shade from light to deep. Rosy Daybreak is the perfect cool-toned rosy bronzer for light skin imo :)

Have you ever tried the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light as a bronzer? It has the most beautiful texture and color and it is literally the only thing I've ever found that works as a bronzer on my skin. It looks almost lavender in the pan but it doesn't end up looking that way on the skin at all. It's my single favorite makeup product of all-time and there isn't anything else like it. As far as I can tell there isn't another powder/blush/bronzer out there that matches it in tone.

Thank you for your recommendations! As I was using huda beauty cream lipstick in Baby Face as my cream bronzer because it doesn’t pool orange and has a pretty brown shade. I also love bronzer in Hourglass jellyfish palette

I have to add NARS Laguna cream bronzer in light to the list. This is their newest shade and the ONLY one I’ve tried lately that did not pull orange. I love it so much!

Ooh thanks for the rec! Cream bronzers can be so difficult to find good shades in, and I usually wouldn’t think of NARS because the classic laguna doesn’t work great for me. I’ll have to try that one out soon!

I’m a green gal. More of a light olive but I tan naturally to a light/medium in warmer months. For some reason the yellow/golden bronzers look really bad in my skin. But the red toned bronzers or neutral leaning cool bronzers are the best for me!

I’m also fair olive and the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate in Intensity 0.5 is my holy grail. It’s expensive, but the color and formula are perfect

Try Chantecaille Goa. It looks too dark, but it's not. It's more red toned so it looks very natural on my cool toned skin.

I own the Rare Beauty Bronzer stick in Power Boost. It's the lightest shade and I really like it. I want to try the Saie Cream Bronzer in Fair. I just think it might disappear into my skin. I do better with powders.

Hey, I have one question please - I heard you said that hourglass bronzer and Chantecaille bronzer both are baked. Would you say they are somewhat similar? Do they sit in the skin similarly and does one have more shimmers than other?

There are 2 shades of the Flower Beauty bronzer. A cool one and a warm one. I'd bet that person got the warm one.

Agreed!!! I think so many people just call it the Flower Beauty Heatwave Bronzer and don’t say the shade (Sunrise) - just like she did in this video - so people just think it’s 1 shade or something, and some places only have 1 shade available. Like I went to repurchase mine and Walmart only had the darker one but I knew I wanted Sunrise so knew not to get it, but someone else wouldn’t know. So, like you said, most likely they got the deeper one and didn’t know a second shade existed.

@@MellaYellowweird! I’ve repurchased the Laura Geller bronzer in fair many times over the years and it’s always been a brown with pink swirls in it. But they’re handmade so I guess there’s always a chance one can get too much pink poured in 😂 Hopefully you’re open to giving it another try because it’s amazing for fair skin! Especially fair, cool toned skin!

I had a similar experience. I had been through multiple of the medium shade but the last 2 I ordered were so dark I couldn’t use them. Super disappointing because it had the most beautiful finish. I feel like there should be more quality control to make sure they all turn out at least relatively close to each other .
