Thats cool to know actually, I have 80 def & 93 range but at range distance I still take a decent amount of damage from KBD, im gonna give the melee distance strategy a shot. Cheers
I love how all the maxed/high level players think 80+ is mid level. Edit: So what’s the point in taking god d’hide to kbd if there’s no point in praying?
I mean 80 is the cb lvl where you start being able to boss/pvm without having to have really specific stats/items. Levels before that i would consider low cb level.
He means don't use protection prayers. Late to the party, I know but hey, I answered right =P The God D'hide still reduces the prayer drain rate for stat boosting prayers.
Came here with level 60-65 combat stats (75 combat level) thinking I wasn't a noob, and that there had to be some bosses for people at an even lower level than I am.
kill hill giant boss and moss giant boss, once you hit like 90 combat (70-75melee) you can probly do callisto and venatus... at 80 range or magic you can do zulrah. but 75 combat level only hill giant and mossgiant boss realistically.
Tip for Giant Mole: At base 70s, Zamorakian Hasta with a standard midgame melee setup (fighter torso, Obby legs, helm of Nietiznot) outperforms Dharok’s. Mole is weakest to stab, and Dharok’s passive effect goes off of missing HP rather than HP remaning, meaning the higher your base HP, the more powerful the passive effect is. It overtakes hasta around base 90s. Plus, your normal melee gear doesn’t degrade
If you do KBD stay in melee distance with melee prayer. Youll never get hit but if you're range distance theres a chance to be hit instead of not being hit at all. (Idea Credit: this was woox's concept not mine)
I have a big feeling the people who comment are new to the game and don’t understand the concept of grinding. The fun is in the grind and if you don’t understand that, you’re not gonna have fun. Bossing is so profitable because it takes time to get there, if it was easy bossing wouldn’t be profitable.
Title of the video "Bosses to kill so I can PK you" Just kidding. Not a bad video at all. However the best boss hands down for mid levels is Barrows unless they are pet hunting. Its safer. Quicker rewards for a faster sense of achievement. Useful gear that can help mid levels get into high level content. It is also a ton of fun! Also to make the chaos elemental easier, there is a new safe spot you can use near the den at that tree using a cannon that can 2 hit the chaos ele every rotation. Makes for extremely fast kills and you can easily log out before a PKer gets to you since you're only reloading the cannon.
Honestly the bosses in the wildy are not really the bosses its the constant bombardment of pkers that probably drop more then the npc bosses half the time
In my opinion you're mid-level when you reach 60-70 combat stats, even though XP wise 92 is the halfway point. As many people mentioned before me, the actual boss/minigame you can easily do with ~60's in stats (including prayer) are the Barrows brothers. With gear totaling about 200-500k (including runes/ammo) you can kill them very easily and only use 2-3 prayer potions even when praying against every single one of them (to save even more potions, only pray against Dharok, Kharil and Ahrim - with base 60 combat you should be able to tank the rest no problem and if you're scared, wear ring of life). You might be loosing money each trip until you make it all back (and then some) when you get a good drop.
I know this was two years ago so prob won’t see this. I’m a noob.. did you just say xp wise 92 is HALF WAY? Meaning 1-92 is the same distance as 92-99… is this what you mean. If so, WTFFFF that’s crazy
Hey can you make a video for something below your definition of “noob”. Saw this video and got excited then heard 75 in melee stats and got sad. THATS NOT A NOOB. I just switched over to membs and have almost 60 in melee stats
Doing members' quests is probably what you want to be doing for now, although training slayer or some of the other new skills isn't a bad idea either. Training just combat and bossing is a feelsbad in the making since you can't access anything locked past quests such as barrows gloves.
That’s a noob. Not a bossing noob. A bossing noob is like a level 95-110... the xp from 1-75 is like 1.2m from 75-80 it’s 800k. That’s 2/3 of the xp to get 5 levels that it originally took you to get 75...
80+ being referred to as mid level might sound ludicrous but when you remember how every 7 levels demands you double your total skill xp - that 92 is the halfway point and 85 is only 25% of the xp til maxed - it makes a lot more sense. Base 80's *is* mid level.
KBD tip: I saw someone suggest standing in melee range so you can pray Melee to receive no damage. When KBD is meleeing he won't breathe fire at you (which is unprotectable) which causes less DPS on you.
Still breathes fire, but he will occasionally attack with melee, which will be protected 100%. Basically throws an attack in his rotation that will never hit you, reducing the overall damage you take
I'm not a fan of how most of these bosses require abusing the game's mechanics. Ven and Callisto both have very elaborate and unintentional safespots and chaos ele requires flinching. What would you do if these ever got fixed?

No offence but you sent alot of misinformation during the kbd bit 1: range always surpasses melee at obdurate due to the bolt spec +don't 2: you stand in melee distance and pay melee why ranging so to trigger it's melee attacks therefore reducing dmg to you 3: ruby bolts don't hurt the user ... I really don't know where you got thst one from
make a top of bosses or activities to do with your low- mid level friends as a high level , its hard for me to find what to do with some friends that started playing after me
My higher level friends always did these bosses and we just loot shared. I mean all of these except for mole and chaos eley I solod mole and never liked eley.
What bosses would you need 80 across the board? 80 def and 80 magic or range is fine, or 80s in all melee stats depending on the boss. Magic or range levels aren’t needed for bosses you aren’t using those styles on obviously
I stand in melee distance to kbd and pray melee because it's the only attack you can block 100%. 1 melee att every 4 attacks. Its like 25% of the damage blocked.
No bosses are even close to possible at those levels except Bryophyta if you pray protect from mage the whole time, but all her drops suck except for bryophytas essence and since you can only fight her once every time you get a key it isn't worth doing. Plus since it would take you a while to kill her at those levels it's possible that the cost of prayer pots per kill would literally be higher than whatever she drops For normal pvm you could kill blue dragons or just train slayer, especially wilderness tasks edit: these stat requirements in the video actually are "noob stats", level 75 is less than 10% of the way to 99 xp-wise and if you focus on training can be done in like a week at most
Alex Gallagher no, I havnt done the hard diary, it is still worth it for the pet, but money wise you barely make any, but you dont lose money so it is worth it for the pet. It gets extreamely frustrating when you cant find him
Why are all mid level bosses wildly bosses wtf jamflex. I started playing again with the intention to pvm, not max my combat to have a chance at a boss that isn't in the wilderness...
Lol i was luring it in 31 wildy then the fuckers ice barraged me and then teleblocked. along with 2 goonies and the spider attacking me i cant eat fast enough.
as eomeone who's just trying to see how boss fights work and the support the solo bossing being relevant in the game, this doesn't look good because it's either 0 mechanics or glitching to boss.
Lvl 80 is low and a reason able level to do bosses. It’s the minimal to where killing bosses are practical. And compared to how much exp you need for 99s, these stats truly are ‘’med-level”
I don't think dharok is good for mole. He's weak to stab. I used zamorakian hasta with better stab rating than dharoks slash and I used prayer setup. I saved a ton on potions, the kills averaged out to be slower with dharoks when I tried it. Sometimes it is better but its random. It took me 873 kills to get the pet mole
explain how this is the case, because medium would imply middle, and 92 is halfway towards 99, so really by saying level 80 is med is really a stretch, sorry I undersold it.
Cannon helps a lot with mole. Dwarven rock cake to get down to 1hp. This guy sucks at details. He doesn't even mention his locator orb. **FYI theres a hill giant boss and moss giant boss for low to mid levels
Venenatis safe spot the one u use is literally horrible i do arround 30 kills an hour on the normal safe spot literally 95% of the community uses also you can go to single combat safe spot so pking you will be harder cuz they gotta teleblock or barrage or entangle you so you either run or tele out es easy as it is
