Hi, I have applied for Mechanical Engineer, but AUSTRALIA ENGINEERs gave a positive skill assessment as PLANT ENGINEER, when I want to apply for the EOI and then the PR, is there a problem that my diploma from my bachelor says that I have done MECHANICAL ENGINEERING instead of PLANT ENGINEERING. Hello Traci, I would like to apply for a 491 visa. 38 year old Canadian with no Trade or UNI diploma. My current employment has been 2 years managing a hotel and restaurant. I believe they should remove genuine temporary entry requirements. A lot of people get their Visa denied because of that reason. It Seems like the government wants you to come to Australia work for 5 years and then leave back to your country.
