You guys prove that it's the shooter that makes the gun. A high dollar gun won't make you a good shooter. This is my first time watching you. It's a lot more fun than listening to a Hickok 45 self-aggrandizing. It seems that it doesn't matter which gun you guys pick up, you hit your targets 99.9 and 3/4 % of the time. Since I'm new to your site, are you gun dealers, or do you just own a great variety of weapons ? I like the way you've brought your son along and shown him how to shoot. He'll be teaching his sons /daughters, too. That's what we all need to do . Thanks for a good time.
Good morning William and welcome to our channel. No, we are not gun dealers but just two guys that love to shoot and have fun. I've been shooting since about 1972 when I received a .22 rifle for Christmas and I'm still shooting 50 years later. I have passed on my knowledge of shooting to my son and he almost always outshoots me now and I am extremely proud of him. I don't have any sponsors sending me guns or ammo therefore I am not under any pressure to give a positive review when I pick up a firearm and do a review on it. When I say my Hi-Point pistol shoots pretty damn good you can trust me that it shoots pretty damn good. Anyways, we thank you for the nice comment and we look forward to reading more of your comments. Happy New Year, William.
Thank You Both so much for the awesome and wholesome vids. I just retired this year (2021) and started watching Your videos. I am definitely a Fan. I've been watching Your past videos making up for the ones I've missed. This year I also bought My Mav88 shotgun thanks to You Guys. I can't wait for what 2022 will bring. Happy New Year, God Bless You and Yours! Stay Safe and Blessed Always!
What can I say. Been a joy watching y'all over the years. Thanks for everything Men(and Woman super star Jess!) I appreciate y'all's time. I pray a greater year to come. Thumbs up video Brother ~John
Hello John. Yes, you have been watching and commenting on our videos for a long time and it almost seems like you are family. Have an absolutely great 2022 and we always love hearing from you. Thumbs up Brother!
Congrats on all the channel success!!! Its so cool to see the relationship you and your son have cherish it brother. This year i unfortunately lost my best friend, shooting partner and Dad. And that along with some health problems has helped narrow my focus on what's important ,and #1 on that list is having positive experiences with the loved ones. Thanks for the great family friendly content!👍
Thanks to you guys, if I ever have to confront a burglar in my home I'm going to toss him a 2 liter bottle of Shasta before taking aim, to improve my sight picture 👍 Best wishes for continued success and good health.
My all time favorite shooting moment with my children was when my daughter was I think 11, and I gave her a .357 magnum (Smith and Wesson Model 28 2 from my dad after he passed) loaded with +p .357 magnum rounds in it. She took it in a strong two hand grip, because I warned her to hold on. She fired the first round, turned to me and said that's all? Then emptied the cylinder in rapid succession. Yes I do brag on my little girl because she's, ah, made the best life choices. My son, not so much. Very sad to me honestly. Your channel is great guys. Keep shooting. I've even bought a gun on your recommendation. It was a Turkish Shotgun and have not regretted it. Happy New Year guys. Have a good one.
Greetings from the UK, came across your channel by accident, best accident I've ever had, jealous of your freedoms but I won't hold it against you. I shall be watching for a long time so keep 'em coming, Happy New Year !!!
Well, we are certainly glad you found our channel by accident and we will keep making these videos as long as we have ammo and a few guns to shoot. Happy New Year, Dave!
Way to go! I would love to have a place to shoot like you guys do. I really enjoy your down-to-earth videos and family oriented content. Common sense and gun fun, thank you and God bless! And I LOVE the fact that you "beam in" to every video. Big points in my book!
Good morning Kirk. Yes indeed, we love to have fun while making our videos and we will continue to "beam in" as long as my transporter is working. God bless, Happy New Year, and we all thank you very much for watching our videos.
I throughly enjoyed the recap of this year's videos. Both of you seem to making them too. I think the lighthearted side of the shooting sport is what sets your videos apart from the rest. I personally like watching movement in targets. Alot better than just a blank target
Thanks mixup98 family. You know that original owner of that shell of a pickup would have never guessed just how repurposed in so many shooting scenarios. I vote for more 9MM PCC's and lever gun videos.
@@mixup98 Loved your CX4 Storm vid. PCC's are kinda my new favorite niche. I just got the Windham W. GMC AR9. Thanks for the reply and you guys have a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
You deserve the credit boys (and gals), you guys are great!! Please be well, and PLEASE don’t take any of what they’re referring to as a “vaccine.” - Jason/Freedom Fighter/Sheep-Dog/Unjabbed, Unmasked, Unafraid & Prepared for Survival/Vermont, USA 👊🏽👊🏼👊🏿👊🏾👊🏻
👍🏻😎I'm 57 and I just found this channel a few days ago and it's quickly becoming my favorite gun channel. It reminds me of living in New Mexico when I was a kid and running around the foothills with my Ruger 10/22.
Guys, y’all are my favorite channel. Always great advice and the beautiful desert is a great place to be. Thanks for the videos, I don’t always comment but I watch every one of them, some again and again! Happy shootin guys!
As we close out 2021, "unload and show clear". Another year awaits. Stand by. Thanks for every video you've done this year. You always demonstrate gun safety, which is so valuable.
Okay okay it said mixup98 & son. Who is the darling brunet. Okay son you are a very good shot with pistols. Now do it with one in each hand at the same time. You make being a cowboy fun. Yee Haw from Southern Nevada, Your weapons for 2021 look like they are right out of the Sportsman's Warehouse catalog. I love it. My favorite store is In Henderson Nevada they are the best of the best,
Hello Russell. That charming young woman, Jess, is my son's wife. We do have a video here on youtube where my son shot two pistols at the same time and hit two different steel plates. Funny you should mention the Henderson Sportsman's Warehouse as I was in there this morning and bought a brand new Taurus Spectrum pistol which I hope to review when it warms up a little here in southern Nevada. Stay safe, stay warm and Happy New Year!
Hello, I Always trust your knowledge in guns and watch all your videos. Can you tell me how you feel about the Taurus pt92 all stainless I inherited. looks like a fine built 9mm pistol. It is in mint condition, and I look forward to your honest opinion as always. Thanks for your guy's videos.
Hello M. I am going to give you my honest opinion. Beretta used to produce its 92 pistol in Brazil but when Beretta left the country it sold its manufacturing plant and all of its equipment to Taurus, which means Taurus 92 pistols are made on Beretta equipment. Over the years I have owned the Beretta and Taurus 92 pistols and I can honestly say that I prefer the Taurus. Why? The Taurus has the safety/decocker on the frame while the Beretta pistol has it mounted on the slide, which I really don't like. If you haven't shot it yet I'm willing to bet that you will find it to be one of the smoothest pistols you have ever fired. You definitely have a keeper and a great pistol to be proud of.
I STILL can't believe how long that can of artificial snow stayed air borne! NASA should be taking notes from you two. Happy New Year and Semper Fi, TreeTop
You have a great channel, love your vids. I watched your video on the taurus Tx 22 feeding problems and you solved my problems, clean the mags. Thank you.
Hello Sean. Just to be clear and to avoid any confusion I should have said that we produced 60 videos this year and that our channel has reached a total of 60 million views since we started making our videos. With that said....Happy New Year and thank you for watching our videos.
Best Video of the Year! I adore the sound of thunder in the hills!! If there is ever a shortage of shaving cream, I'm coming to Nevada for supplies. lol
I love seeing a father and son enjoying time together shooting outdoors. Every time I take my sons and daughter they love it and always ask to go again when we’re together. There’s no better way to spend time with your sons. Or daughters.
You're right, there is no better way to spend time then spending it with the kids outdoors. I absolutely love making videos with my son and I am truly blessed. Thank you for the great comment and tell your children we said "hello".
I really enjoy when your daughter-in-law is in the videos because I feel like I get a better idea what the gun is like since she isn’t as experienced and her reaction seems genuine. Great videos!
Her reaction is genuine, sweet and funny and I wish we could get Jess into more of our videos but her work schedule makes it hard for her to find the time. Maybe we can get her into more of our videos next year.
Watching this on New Year's Day with a blizzard raging outside, seriously contemplating if I could go out and get some shooting in between flurries....Thanks for all the entertainment, Men. I truly enjoy every video you put out. Are we going to see more Super Blackhawk love this upcoming year? With a pot of posole on the stove, I figured you all would show up to take my can of hominy away before I could dump it in the pot....
I can't speak for my son but I would never take away your can of hominy 😁 We just might break out the old Super Blackhawk this year and have some fun with it. Might even have my son break out his Redhawk! Anyways, stay warm and enjoy your posole.
@@mixup98 Also, I had an idea of making a t-shirt for your channel. I was thinking a picture of the Nevada hillside landscape with the old shot-up truck in it with the words “time to shut up and shoot” underneath. What do you think?
@@wesleyrussell5298 I absolutely love your ideal abut the t-shirt. We have talked about several shirt designs but I really like yours with the old truck in it.
Happy New Year, Guys. Sorry I have been absent, but I have been sick. May God bless you throughout 2022 and grant you peace. Take care now. Kind regards. Liz.
I saw a custom Buck Mark today in my local shop while getting a scope mounted to my Savage 64ss. Tomorrow is ammo therapy day. Bore sighting with my new scope. Hoooray! Great way to bring in the New Year. Have a happy and healthy New Year Sir
My discovery of your channel just a few months ago also coincided with a renewed interest and passion for firearms. It's possible I've been a little OCD about it all, with some lengthy comments, questions and sharing quite a bit of my personal thoughts and ideas. I really appreciate you taking the time to often also share your thoughts and answer my questions. I have learned a lot from your videos and your feedback as well as reading comments from others in the community. I enjoy spending time here and I'm also always immensely entertained with your content and editing. Thanks for what you guys do for the community and all the time and $$$ it takes to create and do what you do. I'm looking forward to a new year of your channel with my continued friendship and channel support. *Great compilation and edit! 👍
Good morning E. Yes, we have had some lengthy discussions and I have enjoyed every one of them. Even with my five decades of shooting I also learn a lot from some of my viewers with the comments that they leave. I am pleased that I have been able to pass on some of my shooting knowledge to you and I applaud you for wanting to learn. Please know that I receive thousands of comments every day and I respond to as many as I can but there are many comments from my viewers that don't show up in my in-box or my email. If I don't respond to a comment it is only because I didn't see or read it. I am anxious to hear your thoughts on your Beretta Cx4 Storm after you receive it and put some rounds through it. My son and I are anxious for spring to get here so we can get back outside and make some more videos but, in the meantime, we would like to thank you for supporting our channel and we all wish you and yours a Happy New Year!
*I've carried a PPQ M1 .40, since it 1st hit the market....**5:20** Looks like you have an M2 9mm (?) - Ya, I would bet you like it. (for me; there's nothing better)* *Excellent capture @ **7:05**, especially how it splits away from hitting the lens* *Nothing like a large caliber, vs a large can of Hominy, for that warm weather Hail. **18:25* *Hey wait...I hear a motorcycle coming. **28:38** - No, just a fly saying; "To Hell with the Country Sausage Gravy, I'm outta here!"* *Good stuff. - Thanks!* *Thumbs up # 793*
8:14 Behold, the majestic wild horses of S Nevada! 😂😂😂 Since I can’t be at the range, I’m loving this! Only get paper targets at my local range. No Jello or shave cream! Blessed 2022! Here’s to more videos. 👋🏼😎
You’re quickly becoming my favorite gun channel for the honest reviews, entertaining content AND the fact I learn something almost every time & that’s saying something. I’ve been shooting since my 1968 rookie year.
Hey boys, sorry I've been gone for a few months. I'm back and feeling better. Missed you for Christmas but made it in time for the new year. Love the year end video, great stuff. Looking forward to seeing you for the entire next year. Happy New Year!!
Welcome back and we are glad you are feeling better. Hopefully you can find the time to watch a lot of the videos we posted as I think we put out some really good ones this year. Hope you had a great Christmas and we all wish you a Happy New Year!
@@mixup98 Thanks very much. Yes, i will be doing some catching up on your channel for sure. I'm a few months behind but I will watch them in re-run, lol. Seriously, I'm looking forward to it. Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.
What an awesome video my brother keep up the good work Happy New Year's can't wait to see more videos that you and the family you make God bless you all
Question! What gun was that "Fun little plinker" your son was shooting left handed at the 4:45 mark? Also, Happy New Year to you both and thank you for all the amazing content this year!!
Hello Thomas. The revolver is a Chiappa .22 rimfire and it's really a fun revolver. Here is the video review we did on it earlier this year: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-98oe95ieIw4.html
Now that was OUTSTANDING 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 🤠🤠 well can't help but say thank you again to all of you....this Channel is one of the very best there is...I have learned a lot and I appreciate it greatly....looking forward to seeing more so a very happy new year to you all wishing you health and happiness 🎊🎉🎊🎊🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎄🤠🤠🤠🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good morning my friend. You always leave some of the best comments and we appreciate every one of them, especially the nice feedback. We hope you have a fabulous 2022 and we look forward to hearing from you next year 😊
Great video of a father and son just hanging out and having a good time. Thanks for letting us join in on making some memories. Happy holidays and stay safe.
That was just a super video to end the year Mix! Looking forward to the New Year, new videos, New guns, and more fun! You, Son, and daughter, are like family at this point! HAPPY NEW YEARS ALL!
We had a lot of fun this year making these videos and we hope next year is even more fun. We will keep making these videos as long as I can keep buying and/or reloading ammo 👍😁 Happy New Year!
Nice video folks, I thought the soda fountain was excellent, and showing one of my favorite cartridges, the .357 Magnum, Thanks for posting, Stay Safe.
