I agree with you. I like to say, a G-Class is "raped" without it. It just needs it. And I would not even think about buying one without the designo leather package. The "normal" leather looks awful.

What is this turbo sound called like @3:10? anyone got compilation of it? when they let off throttle and it slows down? I tried searching "turbo sound" but it shows me those blow off valves on jdm cars etc..

Hmm, anyone having experiences with straight pipe exhaust on an OM402 engine? I thought about getting a bypass valve system for the exhaust. I'm pretty sure it would sound great though.

I dont get it, these engines sound so badass.. But it sounds like they arent revved to more than 4000 rpm. Nobody in this video seems to to full throttle, so the engine sounds pussy. Its like the engine cant decided if its gonna sound badass or sound like air. Can somebody explain this? xD

I think that is because of the huge turbos! But I am not an engineer!

TranceMaster Elias There is a rev limiter, my AMG has the same issue, if you toss it in neutral, it cant rev past 4000 or so rpm. Mercedes does this to prevent you from messing up your motor.
