In the first of this exciting new series, we head off in our wonderful, little caravan to Shropshire, to stay at The Shepherds Loft Caravan and Motorhome Site, at Frodesley Hall Farm, Frodesley, Dorrington, Shrewsbury SY5 7HF. We set up our stall at the 2022 Shropshire County Show, meet lots of amazing people and have a fantastic day. We show you a walk around the local area before heading to the Riverside Inn, Cound, Shrewsbury SY5 6AF for a delicious lunch with friends before moving on to a site in Scorton, Lancashire!

Who are we?
We’re Jamie & Stacey McNeill, two, 30-something professionals, who’d had enough of the rat race in summer 2018, when we quit our jobs and sold our house, in order to live full time in a touring caravan in Wales.
Our channel shows our journey living this way, the highs, the lows and everything else in between. We also use our platform to advocate to others, the benefits of living a lower stress, more balanced lifestyle.
We have built our RU-vid reputation to date on honesty and integrity - you won’t find us using ‘click bait’ titles or nudity to draw in ‘cheap views’. We’re here for the long-term to show that this way of living can be a lifelong change for you as well as us.

Ahh, it's so nice getting to see these places and what you're up to, been great catching up with your vids, and, some of those cards really make me laugh :D That shirehorse foal was soooo adorable, and the jousting was a jolly good show too! Nice one, thanks for sharing your ventures

Have you tried getting a stand at the great Yorkshire show [ had one there for a few years ] its one of the biggest shows

Hello! Yes, we did look at it, but we'll be in Cornwall then, having a bit of a break after the Devon show 🙂 There's so many great show... If only they'd organise them so they'd flow north to south in order 🤣 Next time!

Hi, Do you have any trouble using camp sites with the van? I’ve heard some sites don’t like them parked next to the caravan! Probably something to do with not looking like a gypsy site!?

Hi Dave, In response to your question - Yes & No. When booking sites, it helps to explain that you tow with a panel van. Being upfront about this is better than arriving and having to plead. For us, we're often booking campsites near to the showground, so this helps with the explanations. However, if you are able to communicate clearly and coherently with campsite owners, this gives them the confidence in you. I would expect that if you turned up with a Transit Tipper or similar that you could have problems, but many panel vans are very tidy nowadays and don't look out of place. If they are sign written, then you will also need to declare this. Hope this helps!

Hi hope your OK. Been following you for awhile . Got to ask how to drop on these little site to park up on . Is there any apps or Web pages I could try that are dog friendly. Keep up good work and glad your both looking well .

Hello again, For this site, we'd exhausted the usual options of pitch up and CMC, so I hopped onto Google Maps and searched for campsites in the area and found this one. It seems to be fairly new, as it wasn't showing on satellite view. Hope this helps.
