Fun fact: The devs have a SECOND protection on the Submerged Castle. If you hack the game to somehow get any other color across the water to it, you will receive a message saying only Blue Pikmin are permitted inside.
Never seen that to be true. It is actually possible to get other colors into the submerged castle without hacks or glitches and no such message appears
RACIST DUNGEON!!!!!!! But I could have sworn I was successful on getting other colors into the dungeon... I must have screwed with the coding without even knowing it or something...
You know this means that pikmin 2 and 3 take millions of years apart or somthing changed on earth causeing contenal shift to happen rapidly because Antarctica isn’t connected to Australia in this part
It's honestly not that difficult to do. The Submerged castle has a set time limit every time you enter a floor of 5 minutes. If you spend longer then 5 minutes, the Waterwraith spawns and begins rolling around. Even then, he's not a major threat; because his AI is extremely easy to exploit. The Waterwraith will always approach the nearest Pikmin/Pilot; if one isn't around, he just kinda wanders until one is in range; so an easy way to cheese him, is to just send one pilot to distract him, by hiding someplace he can see the pilot, but cannot reach them. He will get stuck trying to reach them, and will rarely wander off, allowing the other pilot to retrieve the treasures in peace. You can also bait the Waterwraith into mowing down hazards and enemies; which can make clearing Sublevels easier; and if you are ever panicked he might get your large squad of Pikmin, huddle them all into a corner: The Waterwraith often cannot enter narrow corners, and has a hard time turning around in straight tunnels.
Look Emile... The bulbmin are super overpowered. The game doesn't want you to have them because they are immune to every element except for crushing, abyss, and battle. If you had them on land, you would be super overpowered. They left the bulbmin to die so you won't have extreme advantages.
Everything has to have a plot point.Technically they have no reason to not be found above ground because they have been showed to jump and they are not afraid of water.Either way they are not as overpowered as purple pikmin in my opinion. (They have no upside besides for being immune to everything which all other pikmin have combined.No combination of pikmin can stun the enemy without at least 1 purprle.I prefer having purple pikmin over bulbmin though i still use bulbmin when i can just not nearly as much as purples)
