Goalies in hockey have to be one of the most difficult position in all sports, the average shot is like 80 mph in the NHL and goalies have like 0.2 seconds to react to a wrist shot from the blue line, and the average reaction time of a human is 0.35 or smth, also they have to save like 25-35 shots per game on average, so yeah, they aren't as bad as you think

It’s strange to be doing a best of Bedard video already, since no one is going to see his best work until he hits his prime-3-4 years from now. The things he’s done so far are fairly mediocre because he was just 18 last year.

The tournament you’re watching is very important to young hockey players and most never get on the team and the ones that do , only play one tournament and that’s it. So it’s very emotional for them when they’re eliminated because they know they won’t be back. I always feel horrible for the ones who lose because even tho they may make mistakes in the game , the effort they put in through their whole childhood to make it there is more than enough for respect.

goalie here. He's drinking water because in all that equipment even standing still you lose an absurd amount of water through sweat.

you can't blame the goalies ffs xD sometimes it's their fault sure, but most of the time it's poor defense or just an absolutely fenomenal shot like bedard's ones mostly are.
