... and its irrelevant. If a film tells me his name is pronounced Bob that is what we will use. Movies should stand alone without reference to external materials. There is a reason cinema tickets and DVD don't include an explanatory memorandum
So we need Peter Parker bit by the spider and Batman's parents shot EVERY movie/game/cartoon/etc? If they stand alone with no outside reference, then you must agree to that. If it is a fresh, new, non-sequel, they must re-present that history. Or, you agree that because people know those origins from outside media, not the hypothetical new film, it is superfluous. Obviously the outside material matters, not just what's in the film. And you and Mauler appealing to authority doesn't make you, mauler, and the authority NOT wrong. If the filmmaker/writer is wrong, appealing to them doesn't help your case. Or are D&D 100% about GoT?

idk if u found it by now but its a series Mauler used to do on his own channel to parody all kinds of people they covered on EFAP, they should still be on his main channel
