@Godisgood13208, @bassfunkmaster85 is actually right. It was all driven by Herman. And with Herman only lasting for as short as he did, that's the legacy he left at UT
For the entire ESPN staff to be favoring Texas when they're supposed to not show bias is extremely annoying but it didn't matter, the better team win despite all the idiots who picked Texas to crush Oklahoma. The Sooners are legit under Brent Venables
As a Brit, I just can't grasp the sheer size of college game over there - that's an insane number of people in one place for what is essentially a local derby match between college kids! *edit - by local derby match, I mean this isn't the superbowl or similar - in theory this is the feeder system for the top flight league, and it's this big
And that aint including all the people outside the stadium at the state fair watching. I read somewhere so probably a little false but in total it close to 250k people in and around the stadium watching
All of these big rivalry games should have a 50/50 split. It's so much cooler this way. I guess it would eliminate the home and home advantages... but this rivalry is so special because of it
@@ThaProtagonist11 bruh, sounds like somebody is sore after taking that L Also, just as irrelevant as last year’s score, November 13th 1908: Oklahoma 50, Texas 0.
the Ou punter made a HUGE mistake by lining up in the middle of the end zone when he was supposed to have his heels on the back of the end zone to get more space.. luckily it didnt comeback to haunt us!
He was just trying to make the win more dramatic. His next punt was also horrible, but thankfully we have a defense now. We were so spoiled with Turk. He didn't get all the attention that some other punters did, but we saw him flip the field many times during his time at OU
Had I known that The Pat McAfee Show was going to be doing their own commentary on this game, I would've watched this over ABC's broadcast. This is gold😂
Really? For whatever reason, I hate Pat, he's too loud and he talks too much esp on CGD. I mean, he's the new guy, don't talk so much. But then again, I don't mind Stephen A, so maybe he's just the white version of Stephen A, loud and annoying. 🤷🏼♀️
You guys need to have Longhorn special guest ALL the time, cause whenever they hanging out with the boys MAJOR things are happening in the games. The Alabama game and this one against Oklahoma.
Oklahoma is 11-4 in the last 15 meetups. Anyone who acts like Texas is anything special in this rivalry just proves they don't know anything about it. Texas is always the underdog.
BOOMER SOONER!!! That guys said "It's happening, it's happening"...like Texas had already won. LOL WE ARE OU and we basically own Texas. NO matter how good they they they are, no matter what they are ranked. They win one here and there, but overall, they haven't been able to really just even compete with us for a decade. It was an amazing game, and Texas did give a run this year.
@@ThaProtagonist11Yes you are correct. The season after the Lincoln Riley gut punch and the transfer portal nightmare. That’s what it took for Texas to beat us.
@@ThaProtagonist11 LOL you must be a Texas fan 🤣🤣🤣 Salty ASF. And let's see...All time against Baylor, OU has 28 wins, vs. Baylor's 5 wins. You're definitely from Texas with that math. "Baylor owns OU" Comical. Bro you have no argument. I get it, you're mad. I would be too if I was a Texas fan. Don't worry, you will have a shot to beat us again in the last Big 12 Championship.
@@j_diesel I actually could care less I prefer the grown men’s league I just knew I could rile you up knowing that’s all Oklahoma has is their boomer sooner 😂😂😂
@duncanhamilton5841 It's no different than the 18-23 + year-olds who are professional basketball players in the NBA right now. You're an adult who can either go pro or develop in college once you're 18/19. It's moslty 18-23 year olds and some 30 and 31 year olds for college football this year so I wouldn't say "kids" but I would say the difference between college and pro is fans/alumni have a strong connection to their college or university so it's a different kind of passion as a fan. Definitely a cultural difference but it's a lot of fun
Pat tell that Texas culture cheerleader the field that the short horns play on in Austin is named after a Great Sooner from Hollis Oklahoma. Coach Royal learned winning football at OU from Bud. The last National Championship they won was Coached by Barry Switzer’s O’Coordinator Mack Brown!
BOOMER SOONER!!!!! Everyone doubted them. Well, is this good enough pat? Since you and the panel except baker hated on OU? Lol OU used basic plays and won. Texas had to spice it up and lost.
oh my god sir i wouldnt have noticed if you havent said it, thank you so much for that much needed observation truly blessed to have a good viewer like you who went through all the trouble of letting us know, i appreciate you sir
